Likes

The faculties are very nice and friendly with students
College programs are very beautiful and it is planned and arranged by the students
Active collegiate clubs of SAE, IEEE, ISTE, GDS.

Dislikes

Very poor lab facilities and damaged machines
The facilities can be according to latest technology here it is not like that
Lack of entertainment areas lack of gardens etc..

Course Curriculum Overview

The courses are mechanical engineering, electrical and electronics engineering, civil, cs, IT provided in our college and it has Mtech courses for mechanical, electrical and computer science. The university is APJ KTU

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 10000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Since I am a student belonging to general category I am not able to get any of the scholarship and fees reduction. Annual income is also factor in this. General category students with economically weaker section has E-Grandz scholarship

Campus Life

Activities of SAE is most important as the members has participated in various national level competitions and secured AIR 1,2 etc. national level awards for best volunteering has also got. IEEE is also most active club in our college.

Admission

The admission procedure to all engineering colleges in Kerala is through KEAM entrance exam. The allotment process is based on the entrance score and Plus two marks. Also Lateral entry is available for diploma students

Faculty

The academic curriculum is currently different from that of I studied. Present curriculum is more better than I studied. It has python programming in the first semester. And the teachers are effective in teaching

Night Life

Ladies hostel have curfew at 9pm. Library and gym facilities are available. Since palakkad is famous for its scenic beauty places near college is also beautiful. We can see peacock at every places. Street dogs are also there

An honest college review

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester students become eligible for placements. The top recruiters in it sectors are Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, Tata Elxsi, Accenture, Oracle, Amazon, Wipro, UST GLOBAL, IBM. The top recruiters in other sectors are Mu Sigma, Ernst and young,, federal Bank, h and r block. Most of the placement are in it and related sectors. The average package is 4 to 6 lpa.The highest package is 34 lpa in Amazon. In 2024, 35 percent of students got placed. I will look to get campus placement in a reasonable package or I will try to get jobs by other means.

They provide placement packages from a minmum of 4lpa to 12 lpa.. But most of the students got 4 lpa packages, it is very difficult to crack higger packages, but most of the cs students got placement andd students of other departments palcement is not good.

My College days

Remarks:

I loved my department. But some of the management decisions made bad impacts on students and they hate the college. Faculties were good. As I already said 4 to 5 professors were so good in teaching and rest of them makes the learning experience a nightmare.
