KUFOS B.Tech Selection Criteria

Selection to the B.Tech Food Technology is solely based on marks obtained in KEAM followed by counseling.

KUFOS B.F.Sc Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognized institute with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in Biology separately.
• Candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Biology at 10+2 level.

KUFOS B.F.Sc Selection Criteria

• Selection to the B.F.Sc course is based on the candidate's merit in KEAM or NEET-UG.
• Candidates' merit in the All India Entrance Examination conducted by ICAR is also considered.

KUFOS M.F.Sc Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have passed B.F.Sc from a recognized institute with an OGPA of 6.5/10.0 or above.
• A relaxation of 5% is provided to SC/ST candidates.

KUFOS M.F.Sc Selection Criteria

• Selection to the M.F.Sc program is made through a Common Entrance Exam conducted by the university itself followed by Personal Interview. 
• ICAR quota seats will be filled by the All-India Entrance examination conducted by ICAR only.

The basic eligibility criteria is that candidates must have a BE/BTech or equivalent degree with 60% aggregate marks from a recognized institute. The specialization wise eligibility criteria is mentioned below:

• For MTech Coastal & Harbour Engineering: B.Tech in Civil/ Mechanical/ Marine/ Naval Architecture.
• For MTech Integrated Coastal Zone Management: B.Tech/BE in Integrated Coastal Zone Management/ Civil Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Environmental Engineering/ Harbour Engineering/ Coastal Engineering

KUFOS M.Tech Selection Criteria

• Selection to M.Tech Coastal & Harbour Engineering and MTech Ocean And Coastal Safety Engineering is based on candidate’s merit in GATE/NET.
• Selection to MTech Integrated Coastal Zone Management is based on the candidate's merit in the Common Entrance Exam conducted by the university.

KUFOS MBA Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have obtained a minimum of 50% aggregate in graduation in any discipline from any recognized university. 
• Any professional graduate from State Agriculture Universities or Deemed Universities under the ICAR system with a minimum 6.0 CGPA is also eligible for Admission.
• Candidates in the final year of their graduation are also eligible to apply.

KUFOS MSc Selection Criteria

Selection to the MSc courses is based on the candidate's merit in KUFOS CEE. 

KUFOS offers an LLM program in Maritime Law to graduates for a minimum duration of 2 years. Mentioned below are the details:

KUFOS LLM Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have an LLB degree Examination from a recognized university or its equivalent with minimum 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ST) marks.

KUFOS LLM Selection Criteria

Selection to the LLM program is based on KUFOS CEE.

KUFOS offers diploma courses at UG and PG level in 4 disciplines. A total of 20 seats are available for UG Diploma courses and 50 students are admitted to PG Diploma courses every year. Below mentioned are the details:

KUFOS Diploma Courses Eligibility Criteria

• Diploma in Brackish Water and Marine Aquaculture: Candidates must have passed 10+2 or VHSE with Biology as one of the subjects.
• PG Diploma in Aquarium Science and Technology: Graduation in any science discipline.
• PG Diploma in Industrial Aquaculture: B.Sc in any Biological subject including Botany, Zoology, Fisheries and Biotechnology etc.
• PG Diploma in Maritime Law: Candidate should have passed LLB examinations from a recognized institute.

KUFOS Diploma Courses Selection Criteria

Selection to the UG Diploma and PG Diploma courses offered by the institute are based on merit in last qualifying examinations followed by personal interview.

KUFOS Certificate Courses Selection Criteria

Candidates are selected on the basis of their merit in the last qualifying examinations.

KUFOS offers PhD programmes in 4 faculties for a duration of 3 years. Below mentioned are the details:

KUFOS PhD Eligibility Criteria

• The basic eligibility is that the candidates must have a master’s degree in respective discipline from a recognized university with 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ ST).
• For PhD in the Faculty of Fisheries Science, candidates must have scored an OGPA of 7.0/10.0 (6.5/10.0 OGPA for SC/ST)) in order to be eligible.

KUFOS PhD Selection Criteria

Selection is done on the basis of candidate’s merit in the Common Entrance Exam conducted by KUFOS.

KUFOS Post-Doctoral Fellowship Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have a doctorate degree in the relevant subject preferably with published research work with 55% (50% for SC/ST/OBC/PH) aggregate marks at UG level and 60% (55% for SC/ST/OBC/PH) aggregate marks at PG level.
• The upper age limit for applicants is 35 years belonging to general/open category and 40 years for SC/ST/OBC/PH/Minority communities as on July 01 on the year of application.

KUFOS Post-Doctoral Fellowship Selection Criteria

The selection will be based on the research aptitude, research experience and the proposal of the candidate. The applications received will be scrutinized by the screening committee and the short-listed candidates will be called for an interview.
