IIM Kozhikode Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Finals placements happens at the end of the fifth term i.e in the December end of January starting of 2nd year of college life. However, this time due to pandemic the placement season was little delayed and it happened in the starting week of February. Highest package can reach up to Rs 55 lakhs and average is around Rs 22 lakhs, both of which is yearly CTC. Since it is top institute all the 100% student gets placed in the process.

IIM Kozhikode has one of the most splendid placement records among the management institutes of the country. Job opportunities from sectors such as consultancy, IT, FMCG, manufacturing, etc are offered to students from prestigious business organizations. The average package is approximately 26.7 lacs per annum and the highest goes up to 58.1 lacs per annum as per the latest records.

The institute has an impeccable placement record as compared to the top b schools of the country. Reputed recruiters such as Hindustan Unilever, Boston consulting group, etc come for placements regularly. The average package here is 27.6 lacs per annum and the highest goes up to 56.2 lacs per annum as per the latest records.

IIM Kozhikode offers one of the best placement records in the country among top management institutes. Various reputed firms such as Microsoft, BCG, Goldman Sachs visit here as regular recruiters. The highest placement goes up to 56.1 lakh per annum and the average placement is around 25.2 lacs per annum. Most of the student get placed through College placements.

From term 4 start students are eligible for Campus Placements through PPO. Companies visited are BCG, Bain, GS, JPMC, DE Shaw, Deloitte, Accenture etc. Average Package is around 23 lakhs P.A, but a good chunk of that can be attributed to variable pay. Dont know the highest amount. Plans after getting the degree are to work for a few years.

The preparation for placement starts in the first term. Multiple rounds of mock GD and PI are organised to make the student's placement ready. This year IIMK witnessed 100 percent placement in 5 days for the 413 students. Top recruiters were Deloitte, BCG, Goldman Sachs, Microsoft, ABinbev, TAS etc.

Placements are an important part of any business school apart from the academic and other campus relates activities. The college very smoothly and successfully placed all the students of its 24th PGP batch along with the first batches of PGP LSM and PGP Fin within a week even during the online summer internship process due to Covid-19 in 2020. A total of 541 students participated in the placements process. This is the biggest batch size of IIM K and everyone got placed within a week. The highest stipend for IIM K went INR 3.2 Lakhs with an average stipend of 1.88 lakhs and the median of INR 2 lakhs for its 2 months-long summer internship program. 50 % of the students secured an average stipend of 2.6 lakhs during the summer internship process. The college's top recruiters include Companies like Deloitte, BCG, Accenture, JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, Google, HUL, Nestle, Coca-cola, Colgate Palmolive, Samsung, Amazon, Flipkart, etc.

The placements are quite good, highest being at 50 lakh and the average package is 17.5 lakh. This is certainly a top college in this country and in terms of placements you will find it a good return on investment. Median is 16 lakh, and more than 150 companies participated in the process and the placements process gets over in just 3 days.

Nothing should be improved in our course. Various international conferences and guest lectures are conducted. I have chosen this course to upscale my career opportunities. I have heard a lot about the college and the course regarding academics, placement, campus life, and others from my friends before joining.
