CUSAT Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I gave entrance test for CUSAT UG courses which is well known as CUSAT CAT. The scores are not published by the University. The University only publishes the rank list according to which students have to apply for different branches. I got 3302 rank in that test. I choose this college since it was Government undertaking college and the placements from the college was really good.

In CAT( Conducted by Cusat in all india level ) i got 1024 th rank in general quota also 62 th rank in muslim reservation.

The roads in our colge is not in a good condition need to maintain a standard so would believe that necesssary action will be taken in the coming future for our betterment of the university

I took IIT,AIEEE as well as CAT(for cochin University CUSAT), I got average rank in AIEEE and good rank in CUSAT so decided to get admission into CUSAT .

This Institute is a very good institute from reputation point of view, placement, pollution free, lacks infrastructure but overall very good.

There were only problem I faced was communication problem. Most of the local who worked in college like canteen and all were not good enough to understand and speak English. But with course of time we little bit able to understand Malayalam also.

Problem of language for non keralites and food / hostel are a big issue but if you are comfortable then its fine to study there.

Entrance Exam: CUSAT-CAT (All India) Rank: 1669 chose this college because: Couldn't get into any IIT or NIT. This was the only best Govt. college I was going to get into since I didnt want to drop an year to prepare for the entrance exams(I am a fresher). Opted for CSE but my rank fetched me EEE.

College is really a good choice for those who are ready to be in full discipline for their upcoming 4years but if you are interested in some kind of shortcuts better don't opt for this course it's really challenging.Your each day is a challenge so if you are ready go for next year CAT applications. Kerala Entrance with 5500 Rank i got admission into this college for the course of Electronics and Communication Engineering i chose this college since I had my friends who are already studying here and they had good opinion about the placement cell.
