Remarks

There were only problem I faced was communication problem. Most of the local who worked in college like canteen and all were not good enough to understand and speak English. But with course of time we little bit able to understand Malayalam also.

Entrance Preview

There is separate exam conducted for entrance in CUSAT or CAT. Student got admission only after cleaning the exam.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

It was good and well structured. From first semester onward it was intended towards betterment of students and students are provided best lab facilities as well. There were provision of compulsory 75% attendance so that student must have benefitted from the classes.

Internships Opportunities

No. There were no internship facility for students. Although the college provided very good placement records.

Placement Experience

5

There are a lots of companies came to CUSAT for placement . Some of them are TCS , WIPRO, IBM, ARICENT, VERIZON , ORACLE, AMCAT, STANDARD CHARTER, COGNIZANT and many more. Range of packaged varied from 3 to 8-9. I got placement into Aricent technologies Pvt. Ltd.

College Events

4

There were a lots of events being celebrated in my college during my college tenure related to enhance technical and cultural skills. Some of them were robotics conducted by iit Bombay students. Cultural programs were celebrated annually and some local functions like onam and Christmas were also part of cultural functions.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure was relevant as it was a government college. Fee was around 25,000 for a semester. This amount included all the things like library charge, stationary cost, and exam fees everthing. In other words, as per government standards, fee structure was lenient and feasible.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are scholar ship programs and loan facilities but not provided by college. It can be availed by bank.

Campus Life

4

There were more boys compared to girls especially north indian girls though malayali girls were good in number. There were healthy relation among all student. Environment of campus was very good. Rest everything related to my college I liked very much.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Since it was south Indian place and I belonged to north India . Early it was tough to manage into Kerala in terms of food and language. Later, we north Indian students used to live in rental flats which coated 6- 7 k for a month shared by 3- 4 girls . One cook cooked our food. Roughly it coated 7-8 k for a month in total for a girl.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior of mine were cooperative and future oriented. They have been always showed good path and told the value of studies and told we can get good marks and in last good placement.

Exam Structure

In one semester there were two internal and one external exam . Based on these exams we got final marks in final result. Apart of this there were one internal and one external lab exam. Regular lab classes are mandatory to do and of worth to learn.

Admission

I gave the CAT that is common entrance exam. After the result there is procedure of counselling for admission. In counselling process student got allotment for branch as according to their respective ranks. I went through same procedure and got cse branch and admission.

Faculty

4.5

All faculties of our college were well educated and tutors. They provided us best curriculum teaching. Hod of our department was very nice teacher and well equipped degree holder. Other teachers were also sharing the same stage in terms of education.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is the worst. Teachers rush through the portions so that they can finish at the earliest. It may be because the university has a unjustifiable timetable. There is very little practicals given. The ones that are given are just for namesake.
