University of Mysore M.Sc : Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

The department is led by a highly qualified head with nearly 200 research publications, supported by an assistant professor with over 70 publications. The faculty comprises six senior professors, seven guest faculty, 12 additional guest faculty, and three supportive professors, along with 20 research scholars. The course is a 2-year degree with four semesters and includes two dissertation works. Campus placements are available for 4th-semester students, with companies like Biocon and MNCs offering starting CTCs from 2.6 to 3 Lakh INR, and up to 5 Lakh INR for students with innovative projects.

Tuition fees for non-native students are approximately Rs. 70,000 for two years, with a hostel fee of Rs. 15,000. Exam fees are Rs. 2,500 per semester. SC category students under management quota pay Rs. 38,000 annually. Two scholarship schemes, SSP and NSP, offer merit-based fee waivers. For non-SC/ST students, Scheme A costs Rs. 8,000 annually, while Scheme B costs nearly Rs. 116,000 with potential partial refunds.
