- There is a big library in the campus with huge space

The placement senerio of this college is normal ,but if you study above average then you will get a good job , percentage of btech is 60 and of mtech is 40 ,here highest package is around 60 lakhs and average package is around 15 lakhs , students become eligible after one year of course complition

- I liked its library and lush green campus
- Hostel rooms and facilities provided in hostel
- Library is very large and good enough and

- Placements stats can be better it need to be looked in
- Locations is a bit in outskirts it’s a bit far from main city
- Hostel food is not good enough it can be better
Placement Experience:
Placements are average currently... Placements stats for Btech is nearly 60 percentage and for MTech it's nearly 40 percentage. here placement team is hard working and looking for a good overall placement state

- Here you can get everything in the campus
- Here security is very tight, in every class roon there is cctv camera

- College location is little bit disappointed
- When you go outside of college then you cannot find many common used things

Here campus placement is good, many students convert their internship into full time and many got full time job opportunity after competition of one year of course, students become eligible for placement test and after cleared the test appear for interview and then got placement offer

- Mess food quality is low in case of other iits
- Amber hostel food quality is low as compare to IIT ism other hostels

The medium and average package offerd during IIT DHANBAD placement 2024 stood at INR. 15.92LPA and INR 20.79LPA respectively. Further a total of 547 offers were made duing IIT ism dhanbad which is good .

- A student must have a good peer group must not indulge in illicit practices.
- The night canteens do not have good employees.
- There are not many food outlets in the campus
Placement Experience:
The placements in the college are pretty decent.
This year the highest package went 52 LPA.
Pretty good companies like Microsoft , Accenture, Deloitte, Goldmann Sachs comes at the campus.
Core companies like ONGC also visits the campus.
Approx 70% students get placed. And off campus opportunities can also be bagged as the degree from the institute has a pretty good value in the market.

- I liked the social life around the campus.
- Library is the best. Open till 12pm which is best
- Sports facilities are also good. You can have all the types of sports facilities
Dislikes
- I disliked the location dhanbad which actually does not have enough connection via train and flight
- Faculties are something I really hate. Sometimes i think to kidnap their kids but nvm
- The exam part is worst. They should drop the idea of exams.
Course Curriculum Overview:
My course is integrated mtech in mathematics and computing. A good combination of computer science with mathematics such as linear algebra, number theory, probability and statistics, and a lot of subjects including industrial and applied maths.

- Good competition and smart people are there

- Infrastructure is sub par compared to older IITs
- Little future prospects for fields apart from circuital or core Petroleum
- Tough competition in higher branches for grades

Placements are good circuital branches and Petroleums branch which is niche to our college. Most student get into good companies and some go ahead with masters in other good IITs or forieign universities. Highway package reach around 60 LPA

- Nice atmosphere in the college, the Trees and all gardens
- The Clubs are really helpful in personal development so are the seniors who are always there to help
- Some of the Professors are very helpful who really take interest if you are really learning
Dislikes
- Regionalism is very much evident nowadays
- Outside the campus the atmosphere is not so pleasant
- Opportunities for boys are less compared to girls on campus
Placement Experience:
Students get eligible for the Placements in their Final Year. However many grap PPOs which gives them a upper hand.
Google, Microsoft, Accenture, Media. Net, Qualcomm, Axxela, Future First, PhonePe, Flipkart, Zepto, Texas Instruments, ONGC, Tata Motors, Bajaj Auto, SLB etc.
Around 80-90? get placed. Others go for MBA or higher education.
I plan to do MBA.

IIT Dhanbad ranks 15th among the Engineering category by NIRF 2019. It is a much older establishment than IIT Bhubaneswar. The fee structure for BTech in ECE at IIT Dhanbad is 2,30,120 for one year. It Requires a JEE ranking of 3000-10000 for ECE. The ECE department of IIT Dhanbad has seen 60% placement of students with an average annual salary package of 15 lakhs per annum and highest being 39 lakhs per annum. IIT Dhanbad has a total of 332 faculty members who are highly qualified and experienced members. Out of total, 315 members are Ph.D. holders.
IIT Bhubaneswar ranks 17th in the Engineering category by NIRF 2019. It is one of the newer IITs. The students with JEE ranking between 2000-7000 are eligible for Electrical Engineering in IIT Bhubaneswar. Thus, IIT Dhanbad will be a better option to study ECE than Electrical Engineering from IIT Bhubaneswar because, Being one of the oldest established IITs, IIT Dhanbad is known for its quality of education and their campus life. It also has better and more experienced faculty members.
