The department has a sufficient number of dedicated faculty members. Each semester includes two exams: a mid-semester objective exam and an end-semester theoretical exam, both of which are relatively easy to pass. Students can participate in placement activities starting in the 7th semester, but only about 10% secure jobs through university placements, with an average salary package of around 5 lakh INR per annum. The university offers limited internship opportunities, so students often need to find internships independently.

Companies like TCS and Infosys participate in the university's internship programs, and some students intern at PDD, a government electrical company. The annual course fee is 74,000 INR, which covers tuition and other necessary fees. Additionally, students who use the university's transport service need to pay an extra 29,000 INR. The fee structure has been consistent over the years, and no increases are expected soon.
