Fees and Financial Aid:

At the time of admission there is a admission fees of approximately 11,000 after that each semester fees is 5,500. Scholarship on tution fees is provided for the students whose annual income is as follow:- Less than 120000 :- 100%Scholarship Less than 250000 :- 50% scholarship These scholarships are only applicable on tution fees.

Nothing to be proud of

The fee for the first semester was 37'000 and the next will be lesser than this but I haven't yet paid it for the next sem hasn't started yet. But to my knowledge, it would be around 30000 inr. They don't provide any known scholarships.

Life in CUK:Kashmir

The year is divided into two semesters. Each semester, you'll have to pay a fee of 45k rupees. Thats around 100k for a year. Then there is transportation fee, the highest amount you will be paying for that is 2400 rupees, it's judged upon the distance of your location to the University. I pay 2.2k for it and I live about 50KMs away from college. There is no hostel provided by the college but there are hostels which are provided by the thrid party (not college side), they are few blocks away from the college, you can say 500m or 1KM at most, they take about 10k per month. There is no canteen fee, there are shops outside the canteen which are just like departmental stores and you just pick and pay. This is for at least, if you're pursuing Bachelors in Computer Science.

Fee per sem is 11100 for all the students & depends on the course that is opted . Their is no relaxation for category students on semester fee but scholarships are available for the meritorious students in every sem exam .

Overall my experience was good although i quit after bsc.

6800 per semester(includes course fee,lab,identity card,tour etc) you have to pay for 10 semesters.. You can apply for Scholorship on nsp or any other schemes like social welfare department.. Every student has to pay fee no matter you are in any category list.

The life at Central University of Kashmir

I think Central University of Kashmir is the institute that has very very less fee for courses for bachelors degree it is 72000 that is very much less than other institutions that charge 4-6lac for bachelors degree.Scholarships are also available for students who are toppers for every semester.

Pros and Cons of Central university of Kashmir

Admission fee is 9400 Arround. Then is second third and final semester. You have to submitbonly exam fees which is arround 2700 Per semester. And There is transport fee for those who whish to come from long distances. Rest there is no employment opportunity.

Central University of kashmir - the best and only central university in heaven kashmir

The fee was nominal as selection is Done on entrance basis. My costs came around 80000 including all the expenses to complete my B. Ed. The university gives 5000 scholarship to everyone who qualify entrance test.

According to colleges free structure shows vast differences.here during admissions time we pay 13500 including first semester fees and other admission fees.also the continuing semester fees was 4500.here provide different kinds of scholarships on central and state sectors . All kinds of post metric scholarships are available

Reality of university

Tution fee 30000 in fer semester other services charges will we not concluded this fee other many charges will be in per semester will be 3000 and not hostal avablity this university no better campus and very poor

The minimum eligibility set for the Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) + Master of Science (M.Sc) in Biotechnology course requires one to have passed the 12^th standard board examination in any stream with Biology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Mathematics from a recognized board.
