CU Kashmir Course Admission 2025: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Application Process, Selection Criteria

Central University of Kashmir is offering various UG and Integrated courses for the duration of 5 years. Candidates should have a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 from any recognized Institution as per the basic eligibility criteria. The details of each course along with its specializations are provided below:

Central University of Kashmir Integrated Courses Eligibility Criteria

Central University of Kashmir course-wise eligibility criteria and respective subjects candidates need to choose in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) are tabulated below:

Central University of Kashmir UG Selection Criteria

Candidates will be provided admission to the above courses based on Common Universities Entrance Test (CUET) which will be conducted by NTA.

• All the candidates will be selected for admission based on the merit list of CUET and other criteria of the University.

Central University of Kashmir UG Application Process

Candidates will first have to register on the official website of NTA- https://nta.ac.in/. The candidates eligible to appear for CUET must apply in online mode only. Candidates can check the process given below to apply:

• Candidates can visit the official website of NTA - https://nta.ac.in/.
•  Appropriate e-mail ID and Mobile number must be provided for receiving confirmation SMS by NTA
• Candidates must enter their personal and academic details properly.
• The scanned copies of the signature, photograph, mark sheet and other certificates must be uploaded
• The application fees shall be paid in online mode (through credit/Debit card/Net- banking)
• Candidates must take out a printout of the application form for future use.

The Central University of Kashmir offers Integrated PG courses in a few specializations in the field of Science and Education. Admission to such courses, candidates must have passed 10+2 and selection to these courses is entrance-based. Central University of Kashmir offers Integrated PG courses with a specialization is tabulated below:

Central University of Kashmir Integrated PG Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates must have 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwD) in 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as the main subject from a recognized board for getting admission into B.Sc-M.Sc in Mathematics/ Physics
• Candidates must have 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwD) in 10+2 with Biology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry as the main subject from a recognized board for getting admission into B.Sc-M.Sc in Zoology
• Candidates must have 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwD) in 10+2 with Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Mathematics as the main subject from a recognized board for getting admission into B.Sc-M.Sc in Biotechnology
• Candidates must have 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwD) in Graduation with Sciences/ Social Sciences/ Humanities from a recognized institution/ University for getting admission into B.Ed-M.Ed

Central University of Kashmir Integrated PG Selection Criteria:

Admission to all the Integrated PG courses at the Central University of Kashmir is based on basis of merit secured CUET followed by CUK counseling conducted by the university.

The Central University of Kashmir offers M.Tech in CSE at the postgraduate level with a duration of 2 years. The basic eligibility for getting admission into M.Tech is Graduation and candidates are selected based on merit in an entrance examination. 

Central University of Kashmir M.Tech Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must have passed B.Tech/ B.E. with 55% marks (50% for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwD) or equivalent CGPA/ Grade from a recognized university for getting admission into the M.Tech program at the Central University of Kashmir.

Central University of Kashmir M.Tech Selection Criteria:

Admission to M.Tech at the Central University of Kashmir is done based on merit in CUET followed by CUK counseling. GATE/ UGC-NET/ JRF/ JEST qualified candidates are given preferences.

Central University of Kashmir offers MBA with various specializations at the postgraduate level with a duration of 2 years. The basic eligibility for getting admission into MBA is Graduation and candidates are based on basis of merit in an entrance examination. 

Central University of Kashmir MBA Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must have passed Graduation in any discipline with 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwD) from a recognized university for getting admission into the MBA program at the Central University of Kashmir.

Central University of Kashmir MBA Selection Process:

Admission to MBA at the Central University of Kashmir is based on merit secured in CMAT followed by GD-PI.

The Central University of Kashmir offers various postgraduate courses like MA, M.Com, M.Sc, MTTM, LL.M., M.Ed, M.P.Ed in the field of Arts, Commerce, Science, Management, Education, Physical Education, Law. Admission to such courses at the Central University of Kashmir, candidates must have passed Graduation, and selection to these courses is entrance-based. The Central University of Kashmir offers PG courses with specializations with a duration of 2 years are tabulated below:

Central University of Kashmir PG Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject with 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwD) from a recognized university for getting admission into MA
• Candidates must have passed a B.Sc in the concerned subject with 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwD) from a recognized university for getting admission into M.Sc
• Candidates must have passed BBA/ B.Com with 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwD) from a recognized university for getting admission into M.Com
• Candidates must have passed LL.B./ BA.LLB. with 55% marks (50% for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwD) or equivalent grade from a recognized university for getting admission into the LL.M. program at the Central University of Kashmir.
• Candidates must have passed B.Sc in any discipline with 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwD) from a recognized board for getting admission into MTTM
• Candidates must have passed B.Ed/ BA-B.Ed/ B.Sc-B.Ed with 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwD) from a recognized university for getting admission into M.Ed
• Candidates must have passed B.P.Ed/ B.PE/ B.Sc in Health and Physical Education with 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwD) from a recognized university for getting admission into M.P.Ed

Central University of Kashmir PG Selection Process:

Admission to all the PG courses at the Central University of Kashmir is based on basis of merit secured CUET followed by CUK counseling conducted by the university.

The Central University of Kashmir offers M.Phil-Ph.D. at the research level in the fields of Arts, Science, Computer Science, Social Science, etc with a duration of 3-5 years. The basic eligibility for getting admission into the M.Phil-Ph.D. program is Post Graduation and selection is based on merit in an entrance examination followed by an interview. The Central University of Kashmir offers M.Phil-Ph.D. programs in various specializations are tabulated below:

Central University of Kashmir M.Phil-Ph.D. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must have a postgraduate degree in a relevant subject with 55% marks (50% for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwD) for getting admission into the M.Phil-Ph.D. program at the Central University of Kashmir.

Central University of Kashmir M.Phil-Ph.D. Selection Criteria:

• Admission to the M.Phil-Ph.D. program at Central University of Kashmir is based on merit secured in CUET followed by an interview conducted by the university
• Candidates who have qualified NET/ GATE/ JRF/ SET are exempted from the written test
