Likes
- The faculty of our department is very nice. they have very strong knowledge of the subject and also they are involved in very good research project.
- Yes college also provide many scholarships to students and they were too helping.
- "hillfair"-this is the cultural festival of the college two unforgettable nights filled with fun, joy, laughter, entertainment, learning, bonding, interacting with batchmates as well as seniors for the overall growth.
Dislikes
- The placements of my college have became quite bad gradually, and they have fallen quite badly .
- Hostels and their washroom are in pathetic condition. mess food is also not up to the mark . overall hostel condition is not good. almirah and chairs are broken ,
- Teachers and staffs are bit of biased to the himachal pradesh

Placement of NIT Hamirpur is quite good as it provides average annual income of 8 lpa and it is highest in CS branch which is approx 12 lpa and more than 90% students get the placement from the campus

- The college campus is all time best , the whole campus is covered with beautiful nature , infrastructure is classy ,
- The facilties maximum here are good , they all supoort the students , they all are well qualified and amazingly experienced .
- Placements opportunity are amazing , almost 85 to 90 % of students gets the placement easily and the average package is around 12 to 13 lakh per annum.
Dislikes
- The infrastructure is not developed much , it look good but a bit old
- The hostel washrooms are not that much good as compared to other colleges .
- The food given in the mess is most likely the moderate , it can be improved .
Placement Experience:
Placements in nith is pretty good , the average package is around 11 to 12 lpa , After 6th semester the students are eligible for campus placement opportunities
Companies like CRED ,Stryker corporation , Philips, and many more visited the campus .
Total of 700+ offers were made .
The highest package achieved in nith is around 1.5 cr per annum and the average package is around 12 ro 13 lack per anum.
Around 90+ % of students gets placed .
After getting the degree I'll go for the placement opportunities

- The college is filled with greenery all over.
- Placements are very nice.almost all the big companies visit here.
- The faculty is very well trained, most of them have done phd from iits.
Dislikes
- Reservation should not be there. everyone should get equal chance.
- There should be no time boundings for students to roam in college.
Placement Experience:
students are eligibe for placements from 5th semester onwards. 95% of the students who sit for placement are placed with 100% satisfaction. companies like samsung, apple, sony, tcs, tata automobiles, mahindra, dell, acer and asus. this year only a student from computer science engineering grabbed a package of 1.71 crores. a student from engineering physics grabebd a package of 1.3 crores in sector of quantum computing.

- Hostel facilities are disgusting equally for everyone. Restrictions are too many and unjustified many a time
- Accessibility of the location is much disliked as well
Placement Experience:
Placements here start in the final year only. The average package stands around 8lakhs/annum, where the highest last year remained with CSE student (1.73 crores/annum). Placements for CSE department are quite satisfactory. The percentage was around 70-80 last year but recession has resulted in bad percentage this year. My plans after getting the degree is to further pursue MBA

- The opportunities given by the cultural and technical fests are very good to explore new things and enhance our skills
- The college placements are decent and you have grab them if you work hard.

- The course curriculum can be revised as it has become quite old.
- The hostel rooms can also be improved as they have become very old.
- The 75% attendance criteria is something that is the most hated thing by every student.
Placement Experience:
The college placements are good. From the 6th semester you are eligible for college placements.
A lot of big companies like IBM, Infosys, google, Microsoft etc come to the campus for placements. The highest packages offered to students have also crossed 1cr Lpa .
The percentage of students getting placed is also above 80%.
But during the recession. The placements were affected.

- Many faculty are very arrogant and if they target you they will fail you for sure
- There are many restrictions in the campus that sometimes makes it feel like a jail
Placement Experience:
Placements in our college are above average with an average package of 11LPA for the last year. But still, many students don't get placed, a big reason for this is the college's location which prevents companies from visiting the college. The placement ratio deteriorated during COVID but now it is increasing steadily.

- The study system which is more of a theoretical base
- The behaviour of seniors towards the new coming to the college
- The restrictions that are imposed for first year students
Course Curriculum Overview:
For my course that's electronics and communication, it it expected that this sector will boom to its peak by making a ton load of jobs and bright opportunities. The electronics are used in our daily to daily lives so that's why this sector is never gonna stale in near future. Only this that's need to be improved is that teaching must be more practical basis.

- The first thing that I liked about my college is the campus which fascinate me a lot
- The cleanliness in the campus is quite impressing.
- The management of the campus and the academic block is very good.
Dislikes
- Transportation facility from hostel to the main entrance of college is quite annoying.
- Sometimes the Wi-Fi facility is not available all the time.
- There is a construction work near hostel which may cause noise during study
Placement Experience:
The placements of our college is quite good which is the best thing of our college. Many repeated companies visited our college like Wipro and many international companies .last years the highest package of EP branch the student had is 2 crore. The average package of the electrical department is 8 to 10 lacs and the highest may be 27 to 30 lacs. All the departments percentage of student getting placements is 90 to 95 percent. My plan after getting a degree is to get a high paid job for living a peaceful life.

College placements are good, about 70 to 80 percent of students get placed every year and many students also do internships in their 2nd or 3rd year. The faculty also invites companies for placements of students.

- Campus is very beautiful. It has very beautiful scenic views. Campus looks more beautiful during rainy season.
- The club culture here helps one for his/her personal growth and development.
- Technical and non-technical fest like Nimbus and Hilffair are fun.
Dislikes
- One thing I dislike here are the In-timings of hostels.
- Second thing I dislike is multiple manual entries while going out of college.
Placement Experience:
Students are almost placed in final year of the course.Companies like CRED,Stryker Corporation,Philips etc. visited the campus for recruitment in 2023.Highest package was of 52 LPA. After getting the degree one can go for higher studies/research etc.
