Course Curriculum Overview

4

As my course name is mathematics and computing ,it is the combination of mathematics and computing which are my favorite subjects to study in engineering, And in the upcoming years the demand of ai and mL will be boosted so this course suits best for that. There are many and very good real world applications like making ai projects which tells the real time condition of a human face , etc. Overall course experience is good , but there must be some improvement in teaching process ,and there must be little more involvement of real time projects, the curriculum is all best The frequency of exams are less but productive , the difficulty level is between moderate to difficult , and the exams timing are in morning

Internships Opportunities

3

Internship opportunities are mid type I'm nit hamirpur , as only limited students are able to get an intern . Companies like oracle, IBM, SAP ,etc provided the internship opportunities in the campus .

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements in nith is pretty good , the average package is around 11 to 12 lpa , After 6th semester the students are eligible for campus placement opportunities Companies like CRED ,Stryker corporation , Philips, and many more visited the campus . Total of 700+ offers were made . The highest package achieved in nith is around 1.5 cr per annum and the average package is around 12 ro 13 lack per anum. Around 90+ % of students gets placed . After getting the degree I'll go for the placement opportunities

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is pretty simple , the academic fees for btech for obc , general and ews is 82000 And for sc and st is about 1/3 of the original fees . The complete cost for 1st year is like 82000+ 40000(hostel , mess fees) + 40000(the admission fees) There are many scholarships that are provided , all scholarships are listed on the college website itself . There are many companies which visits the college for placement purpose , there are also internship opportunities.

Campus Life

4.5

The campus life is so amazing , the whole college is covered by beautiful nature . The cultural fest named hillfair is held in August, it is a three day fest , in which there are multiple interesting and amazing activities are held . The next is technical fest named nimbus which is held in March or April, it is also 3 days fest in which all clubs represent themselves as a competitor. There are many books to check upon in library , the accessibility of books is easy as it is digitalised . The teachers are good and the technical facility is amazing . There are many sport facility available in the campus and can be played anytime in the day timing , and there are competitions held between the btech years and there are also inter nit event that are held .

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The room facility is overall good , there is table , a wooden bed , and the big almirah made of steel also provided for the storage in the room . There are also the Lan wires provided in each room (1st year) for the internet and the internet speed is pretty good . The meal is above average proved in the mess , and there are all different items provided in whole week , Registration process for hostels is along the admission process, and is an easy process , every student gets guided by seniors .

Admission

Admission process was smooth , the seniors guided us throughout the whole admission process , Eligibility: u need to get pass in jee mains examination , u need to atleast get above 94 percentile to get admission in the college , Application form of the college can be found at the official college site i.e. nith.ac.in There are good reservation benefits, for sc and st the fees is about one third of the fees given by general cast people. The exams are pretty tough , sometimes moderate, and the frequency of exams are less which is a good thing . The overall process is good , but it will be best if the whole process becomes digitalised .

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at my college are average. A few reputed companies visit the campus each year, but the number of offers and salary packages varies depending on the branch and market conditions. Students who have strong academic performance, technical skills, internships, and good communication skills generally have better chances of getting placed.
