A decent and affordable college

Likes

The place is situated in the main area of solan valley so a great environment for studying with a mesmerizing view of mountains
I think college should improve its infrastructure like separate departments for each course
The students here are more of engaged in activities related to sports they are conducting it quite well and also the college ncc club is good

Dislikes

The infrastructure is quite old needs improvement after heavy rainfall it has worsen even more
The quality of education could be improved the practical exposure is not that good and teachers for particular subjects are also not recruited on time
The placement cell should also improve they should make contact with more companies atleast for self financing departments

I think the science department is still good like they have lab facility which could be improved but still at such a low cost they provide all the necessary things and the teaching staff is also good they guide you and put their efforts to make you a good human being overall .I think they really need new teachers and a separate department for science

Awesome college life and Scenic Views, But not so good placement opportunities.

Likes

The environment around the college is very nice, and the sunsets are awesome here.
You don't need to worry about the attendance most of the teachers are lenient towards your attendance, so you can focus on other things you want to do.
Teachers are highly Experienced in their teaching domains. CSE & IT Teachers are much more experienced compared to the other branches, because other branches are relatively new compared to the CSE & IT.

Dislikes

There is no hostel facility for Students.
Institute don't have its own ground and have to rely on HPU for outdoor sports and activity, which sometimes cause problems.casuse
Campus is smaller when compared with other institutes with similar fee structure.

Placement Experience:

Placements are below average even for the CSE and IT students, The overall placements for all the branches is not good. There are little to no oppurtunities for other branches in the in-campus placements. Students are on their own.

BCOM AT COE SHIMLA

The teachers are good and come to the classes regularly.
Recently our class got new furniture and a smart board.
The library has very useful books and has a great environment.

The canteen of the college is not that great.

The BCOM course of Sanjauli college is really practical and upto the mark except for the fact that it has Hindi subject of which everyone must agree. It has all types of accounting subjects i.e. financial, management and cost. We also study law that is very unique and important according to me . Lastly there's maths which can help us for improving our calculations for competitive exams in future. It's very practical course and has applications in real life.
