A BCA Student from COE

This course was really relevant and I chose this course to gain computer knowledge as it is really helpful for getting jobs in the modern era. Government College Sanjauli Shimla offered the best BCA course in the whole district and now I can see it was worth it.

The fee was approximately 28000 per annum which was to be paid for 2 semesters. The college also provided a provision for scholarship to students now but back in our time there was no scholarship . The fees was also altered for sc and st . As they got subsidy on the behalf of government.

The campus life was really nice. We engaged in playing sports and aslo visited the library frequently. Our seniors were really helpful and cooperative. There were many clubs in the college like ncc , nss, etc. But I was not part of any so . But they organised many activities inside and outside the college campus. There were also one day picnics and fresher parties every year.

I chose this college over the others because it has a goodwill in shimla. Also I was guided by my elders to give priority to this college. It has a better NAAC grade as compared to any college in the surrounding. The admission process took place online at that time and was easy. The admission was give based upon cutoff list.

The faculty members were mostly good and cooperative except for a few teachers. Some of the teachers were easily approachable too . There was a teacher named Priyanka Chahan . She was really nice to all students and was never biased. Our exams took place semester wise including minors at middle of each semester. The course was somewhat relevant.

The college had a decent cafeteria and a huge library. The library was really helpful place to study throughout my courses. We hanged out with our friends at the ridge, visited many temples and went to grab some lunch at many famous eateries . The college is situated at a very peaceful location surrounded by forest and a road going through. It was a nice time ????.
