A decent and affordable college

I think the science department is still good like they have lab facility which could be improved but still at such a low cost they provide all the necessary things and the teaching staff is also good they guide you and put their efforts to make you a good human being overall .I think they really need new teachers and a separate department for science

The fee for the entire course is very low comparitive to other colleges it is around 3000 per year excluding examination fees which d usually around 2000.So considering this yes they are providing a degree at a very affordable rate

They don't used to conduct any activities during my time in college maybe lockdown was also the reason I don't know how things are going now but they do conduct annual day every year and some activities were held but the participation was less because students were not well informed about all this prior .they do organice sports day also I think college is doing quite well from sports perspective and the college clubs and parties are also actively participating

I applied for other colleges too but since there was lockdown that time and this college was near to my home so I chose this this was a good college overall considering the fees we are paying and ofcourse a government college u can't expect placements in bsc or extra research work .no doubt they can improve their placement cell and make students do some research work or provide them with exposure

The faculty is quite friendly and interactive i mean some of the staff mostly they don't have teachers for specific subjects one teacher is there for two or more subjects .only few classes are conducted. Some teachers are really concerned about your future and like to guide on a personal level they have yearly system and if you fail in 3 subjects u fail which is good I think.

The college is situated in main area of solan on rajgarh road only a 15 min walk away is solan mall road a great hub for everything where u can hangout with friends,go for shopping have fun and more places are opening in solan which are attracting students so I think you will have a great college life
