Course Curriculum Overview
It's a great curriculum, research-focused- as well industry focued. We had different research courses, minor projects, and major projects. Courses are up-to-date. Generally preferred book as well as research paper.
Placement Experience
There is a dedicated placement cell. But there's not much core job for biotech, mostly sales, but 80%+ placement is there. Good campus placement is available. Average placement is around 4-5 LPA. It's good.
Fees and Financial Aid
I paid 150000 rs per year for the course, there're scholarships based on the 12th marks and completion of good gpa. There is 10000 registration fees. Good scholarships are available, there's state domicile for less fee.
Campus Life
It's a good campus with different student-run clubs. I was the president of a club. Clubs are great for extracurricular activities and great for building soft skills. Also, there's some events once a week in different clubs.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are great, but overpriced. The food is like any other hostel, but hygiene is maintained during cooking and serving the food in the mess. Also, you can rent a room or PG near the university, as there are numerous rooms and PGs.
Admission
I chose this college for its focus on research. Industry-focused courses. good campus views. heard good things about the campus. Supportive faculty, good research labs, state-of-the-art instruments. Good supply of chemicals for labs.
Faculty
it is good, there's faculty to student ratio is 1:40. Faculty is helpful, you can ask for any helps from them. They're apprachable as well. Dr.Chandresh Kumari from the FASB department is one of the best faculties.
Night Life
There are different cafes and a gym, but they mostly close by 9-10 at night. There's a dominos insight the campus open till 2 o'clocl at night. Not much campus life in late night, but till 9 you can chill with your friends on campus.
