Chitkara University Explore Your Potential

Likes

Teachers are great they help you with all your doubts.
There are special classes for student who got left behind
Many speaker are called hackathon are organized

Dislikes

Management is a problem as things are really slow
Hostel has some problem of cleanliness so.

The course curriculum is great and is specifically designed as per the new changing industry and they really give you well insight about all things you need to know about computer software system etc.

Things i like about the campus is not bigger in area so it’s easy for you to get friendly with the campus.also the students are also good to talk. As the chitkara campus is a raging free campus so it will help you to interact with peo
And in terms of education they will provide you the best chances to represent yourself
The faculty of the chitkara campus is also good.

Dislikes

Campus is not that much big so you will feel bored after a period of time
The local area is not that much good as compared to other universities
In hostels the water supply is not that good .

REVIEW OF CHITKARA UNIVERSITY, HP

Likes

The placements are good and the fee is normal and affordable for everyone. Faculties are good .
Faculties are experienced and all are PhD holders
Hostel fee is 33300 per semester which is normal in private colleges

Dislikes

if your attendance is less than 75 percent than you are not eligible for sit in end term exams also here is very restriction in campus areas.
This campus is very far from city like - Chandigarh, Solan .

Placement Experience:

The eligibility of placement is from 6 semester and you have no backlog. Companies like - scaler, Oyo, Tata, Infosys, HCL, Tech Mahindra and startups visit for placements. the average package is 7 lacs and the highest package is 22 lac which is give by scaler. The percentage of placements are 70 to 80 percent. my plan is doing job after get degree.

All there is to know about Chitkara University Baddi

Likes

Clean and green environment surrounded by mountains
Labs and Libraries are air conditioned and very peaceful
Friendly staff and professors who helps a lot

Dislikes

Campus is very far from main city or any mode of transport
Lack of extra curricular activities and sports
Food dilivery inside the campus is banned from Zomato or swigy

Placement Experience:

Placement is quite good for a private University. Average package is 6-7 lacs and placement cell will help you get through the placement process. There are also internship opportunities which companies offer.

A blend of rollercoaster life of college with bittersweet experiences

Likes

Our college provides good infrastructure.
A decent and beautiful University.In my college Chitkara, at least 90% of the students are placed from each batch.

Dislikes

Semester exams are conducted online. Teachers are not provide any guidance regarding studies.

Placement Experience:

Students get placed after 2nd year because of there knowledge. Many companies are visit like Infosys, Cisco, Amazon, Flipkart etc. In my college Chitkara, at least 90% of the students are placed from each batch. The average package offered by the companies is 8 Lacs per annum and the maximum package is 50 Lacs per annum. Both technical and non technical roles are offered by the companies.

Review of chitkara University Himachal pradesh

Likes

Decent placements: the average package is around 6-7 lpa.
Good opportunities: the college provides a lot of opportunities like hackathons, seminars etc.
Less crowd: Even after being a private college, the intake is less because of small campus which is great.

Dislikes

Small campus: campus size is just 18 acres, there is no such place to hang out like big parks or ground.
Mess food: Mess food is not that good for the students opting for hostel, many times the food is not even acceptable.
Location: the campus location is just in the middle of nowhere, there is no place around to hang out.

Placement Experience:

Placements are above average in my college. The average package is around 6-7 lpa and the student get stipend over 20k average. Almost 80-90% students get place after the their final year. Mass recruiters come and take a large chunk of students and good students get into product based companies and startups. Seniors are supportive if you ask for help. Highest package was 33 lpa last year. internships starts in 3rd year starting and placements start in 3rd year ending.

Likes

I made good friends . teachers are very good in nature
Overall infrastructure is good . My companies went out college every year.
As I am in first year so I heard average package is 10 lpa and highest is 1.2 crore which is really good

Dislikes

Campus is very small . It is in 17 acres
Their pc in the labs are never working.all should have their own laptop
Our college never organises a fest if they will organise that is only for hostels, there is nothing for days scholars

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am in first year second semester in my first semester I have 5 subjects which includes physics, electronics ,mathematics, c programming and other languages .now I am in second semester which includes the pro level of c programming maths, physics . I think the college should consider the practical knowledge not the theoretical knowledge . The frequency of exams is very high we have 3 STs and one final examination. Basically I am interesting in learning the computer languages that's why I have opted this course

Greenery, Environment, Sports area, Cu bridge we feel kind of relief there away from all the crowd.

Dislikes

No social events , no fest, No good food in mess and attendace should be 75% which is sometimes veey difficult to do.

Placement Experience:

Form 3rd semester we become eligible for college placements. Many well known companies like Google Amazon Infosys Delloite Tech Mahindra and many more have visited and package is around 5-6 lakh per annum. I don't know much about package as I am in first year. Cgpa should be above 7 to sit in placements. After getting degree I am planning to pursue MBA.
