Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is great and is specifically designed as per the new changing industry and they really give you well insight about all things you need to know about computer software system etc.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 140000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a scholarship available is your siblings are studying and total 4 year with tution would cost 82000 almost the placement starts in last year where every eligible students are given chances to grab placement or internship

Campus Life

There are many technical and social clubs like IEEE CSI ACM AND NSS NCC and some dance song happiness club and Sports complex is there but it is small they often organize sports competition and all things are available in library and with festival celebration mainly of Indian republic and independence day and some Himachal festival

Admission

You have to give JEE and 60% in 12th application details to apply and fees can be find on site with contact details it is smooth. It can be done from home or by going to college also I think the admission process is good

Faculty

The teacher themselves are from well known institute like iit or international colleges holding phd and almost 2 to 3 teachers are there for 80 students they are really friendly and will help you solve your doubts and teaching style is also practical with examples.

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

Highest is the PPO of 93 lakhs and placement of 60 lakhs. around 93% are placed who registers for placements Average CTC is around in between 18 to 22 lakhs

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

I applied for BML Munjal University before Chitkara university, Baddi. I got a confirmed admission from many colleges like BML munjal university, GNA university, Chandigarh university, etc. I chose this college over other because it was not too costly and crowd is less compared to other private universities.
