Honest review of chitkara unibersity hp

Likes

The first this i like is faculty members most of them teach very well and see wach and every student same as school
The seniors are like brothers no ragging at all everything is good
The placement is good as compared to other colleges which are here

Dislikes

The first thing i dont like is the campus that is too small as compared to university
There are many clubs but most of them are just for hostlers because they statt rehearsals after college time and day scholors have to stay in college for practice and go home by their own
The food of mess is not good me and my friends dont like mess food but canteen food is good

Internships Opportunities:

As i told about placement so 600+ companies came here they give opportunity of internship in 4th year and after 4th year they convert it into placement. Stipend is not too muhc its depends on company it can give 20k also and 50k also and conbert it in full fledge sallary after completing all 4 years

Likes

I like the fees structure it is affordable
Faculty teaches very well and they are experienced teachers
Infrastructure is very well set up and labs are there for learning

Dislikes

There is not much opportunities for placements
Mentorship is not well provided and we have to do things on own
Course curriculum is hard and fees for reappear is also very much

Internships Opportunities:

Intership opportunities are provided from 3 rd year. Infosys, microsoft, amazon, zomato , TCS, flipkart, Wipro and many more provide internship opportunities with stipend . They also do mass hiring and take students with them. We need to have atleast 2 projects for full stack or other domains

Small campus size hence peaceful and good campus

Dislikes

We can't go outside the campus without the gatepass

Placement Experience:

Placements are average in this college. There main goal is to show students placement on document. Their is a little partiality for rajpura campus students. Because for placements, we have to go there .

Likes

College infrastructure was excellent as compared to other colleges
Security of the college was extremely good as no one could enter or leave without permission
College has a very large canteed which consist of local food as well as big brands like la pinoz , subway and many more

Dislikes

The boy to girl ratio was less it was around 6 boys to 1 girl which i didn’t like
No can can leave the college without informing their parents, i think a college life should be fun

Internships Opportunities:

Internship are available in 3rd semester. Many big brands like i told you earlier come and interview. In internship you need to go to all 4 departments like kitchen, f&b, housekeeping and front office. Which are different departments of a 5 star hotel.

Good college with good placements

Likes

Various events happen regularly like hackathon, dj night, standup comedy etc
The infrastructure of the campus is really good and very clean
The placement department is really good and helps you in every possible way

Dislikes

Although the infrastructure is good the campus is small around 17 acres
You cannot leave the college before 4pm ,if you have to leave you have to apply gate pass
There is uniform so you cannot wear casual clothes otherwise there is fine

Internships Opportunities:

Many companies visited the campus to offer internship some of the big names are razorpay, pando, tech curators etc the stipend that they generally is 25k , if you're eligible you can apply and if you're good at your skills you can get the offer.

An Honest Insight : My experience at Chitkara University

Likes

Cleanliness and hygiene is present at every corner.
Campus is ragging free and good environment is provided.
Quality education is provided to children.

Dislikes

Restrictions are made on bringing packed food.
Outing timings are limited in the evening.

Students with guidance of professors and mentors makes new and innovative projects every year which are being selected at different level and most of the companies hire students on the basis of there projects.which they make throughout the course Duration.

I like the environment and cleanliness there.
Exposure was good there to work in the current market.
Apart from studies, co-curricular activities are also there.

Placement Experience:

Placement was good there. Tie up with companies are good and companies visit the campus in a good number with good package. Also the placement process is to smooth and I got placed in sixth semester too.

Likes

Hostel fees is quite less despite providing many facilities.
Mess food is tasty and campus is small but clean and beautiful.
Curriculum is up-to-date. Teachers are helpful and friendly.

Dislikes

There are many unnecessary restrictions in hostel.
Sometimes you have too wait too long for food in mess.
Less events are organized and sports infrastructure is not too good.

Internships Opportunities:

I am a fresher so i haven't got any internship yet. You will start getting interships from 3rd year. Many companies comes here for intership from 3rd year. They will take you in rajpura campus too for internship with stipend.

The thing i like the most about the college is the extracurricular activities as it builds strength in us, the faculty is very knowledgeable and supportive.
The campus is so neat and clean, it is plastic free, there is no ragging in the college and I can take guarantee for that.
As a student you can get every facility within the campus itself, the classrooms are very spacious, the whole campus is very beautifully structured in the lap of mountains and you can get alot of opportunities to be a successful person.

Dislikes

I disliked the transportation facility because most of the time what happens is the changing in the bus route again and again and sometimes students who paid does not even get the seat in the bus, the faculties who doesn’t even pay the don’t let sit
If you have not paid the fees because of any circumstances they won’t let you sit in the exams, and if your attendance is low you are detained
Last but not least, the burden on the nursing students, they won’t get much holidays as other students and they don’t get much time for themselves as they are mostly stressed about the pressure the college gives them

Internships Opportunities:

The internship opportunities are available in either government or private hospitals. It really helps students in learning the abilities and skills. Till now the internship has been done in : 1) Paras Hospital, Panchkula 2) Dr. YS Parmar Medical Hospital 3) ESI, Parwanoo
