Course Curriculum Overview:

After the course, there will be an exam called NORCET, by passing this, anyone can be a AIIMS nursing officer , a central govt job with farely handsome salary. This is a real medical field, and we are medicos from 1st yr., coz we are not only reading books, but also , we are going to clinicals and serving care to critical patients , so allover it is farely realistic. There are options like in academic section, like after bsc. You can opt for msc nursing and being a nsg tutor in any govt. College. You may pursue PhD in nsg to being a professor in nsg college (prv, govt or Central govt.) Some major improvements are needed in this course, like making some productive assignment, update the WHO and ICMR rules in all books and discard old rules, and the biggest problem of nurses are not made for bedmaking, this can also be done by patient attendant, so have to remove this procedure . Only nurses can help in bedmaking for critical patients where patient can't move out from bed. There is a need for occupied bed, where can be a nurse needed. Frequency of exam is once in a two month. Internal subbies exam level is easy to moderate, very rarely hard But external subbies exam is moderate, and sometimes hard.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is fine but I sometimes felt it irrelevant to study about subjects like anatomy and physiology etc in detail which isn't much helpful for us( nursing officers) in practical. Although curriculum covered also teach about real world applications. We have started going to ward from second month of first year itself which help us gain good practical knowledge. For me I felt, exams difficult level is average.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The name operation theater Technology indicates that the course will have something that is related to the operation theater and every medical student has the dream to know about it. So I decided to choose this course as I have so much interest in Operation Theatre. This course has a very relevant curriculum. It has lectures based on Anaesthesia and Surgery and topics related to OT. The postings in OT, ICU, Trauma will start from the first day of admission. The posting timing is 8AM to 4PM. This exposure will make you a strong personality. It will teach you to deal with critical situations. It will teach you about the patient care. The students of this course must get the stipend for the postings. All students of other courses usually get the stipend for their posting duty. The internal exams held once in two months and a professional exams held yearly. There will be viva and practicals too. The theory exam is of quite moderate level but the vivas and practical are little tough

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is mainly for the female candidates who want to take admission in AIIMS or make her career in medical field. This course can also be done by males but in college other than AIIMS. This course has greater scope in future time and job security. There are many vacancies released every year and you can go also in foreign as a nursing professional with an average salary of 100000/month. The faculty to student ratio is quite good. Faculties here in AIIMS Delhi are highly qualified. Most of the professors has done post graduation(MSc/MD/MS) and PhD. All teachers teach via Presentation on screen in English language. Exams are not much difficult to pass if you studied well and listened carefully in class. There are first-sem, mid-sem and end-sem here although model tests and unit tests also taken timely for internal and external assessment.
