The name operation theater Technology indicates that the course will have something that is related to the operation theater and every medical student has the dream to know about it. So I decided to choose this course as I have so much interest in Operation Theatre. This course has a very relevant curriculum. It has lectures based on Anaesthesia and Surgery and topics related to OT. The postings in OT, ICU, Trauma will start from the first day of admission. The posting timing is 8AM to 4PM. This exposure will make you a strong personality. It will teach you to deal with critical situations. It will teach you about the patient care. The students of this course must get the stipend for the postings. All students of other courses usually get the stipend for their posting duty. The internal exams held once in two months and a professional exams held yearly. There will be viva and practicals too. The theory exam is of quite moderate level but the vivas and practical are little tough

The course is of three and half years. In the last six months you have to do the internship in the OT, ICU and other areas from 8AM to 4PM. During this internship you will get the stipend of 10250 rupees per month. You have to be regular during this internship period. During the posting you will learn the tasks of OT Technologist and will be able to perform in the OT.

Tuition fee for this course is fixed. It doesn't increase. The complete cost of this course is only 1500. Tuition fee = 425 Hostel fee = 240 per year The 1000 security money will be deposited twice . One thousand during the admission and one thousand during Hostel accommodation. These security money if refunded after the completion of this course. There are no hidden charges. This is the only amount you have to pay for doing this course. After completing this course you will be eligible for the job as OT Technologist in government as well as private hospitals. You will have to qualify the job vacancy examination and then you will get the job in AIIMS or in any other government hospitals. You will be OT Technologist in OT, ICU, Emergency or in other department. The salary for this job in AIIMS DELHI is around 60000-100000 per year.

There are lots of fests organizes here but one of the most important is Pulse which is happens every year in the month of September. It is the largest medical fest of India. All the medical students from every corner of the country come and take part in this fest. There are singing, dancing, gaming, modelling and many events are included in this fest. All medical books are available in BB Dixit library of aiims. You will find a wide range and variety of books based on medical sciences. The journals mad magazine of great authors are also available. The classrooms are very big . Projectors and ac is also there. There are lots of sports events organisez here including badminton, basketball, cricket etc with indoor games also. You will enjoy a lot here. There is a association for the students called aiimsonian. It organizes all the events. You can also do or organize events based on social matters.

You will get a well furnished hostel room with beds, Almira ,study tables and chairs. You can also attach ac in the room. You can renovate your room according to you. The food is very nice and hygienic. The taste is very nice and the food is of low cost. You will get a wide variety of food in the mess including south Indian food too. The registration process is very easy. You have to fill the hostel form after the admission and have to deposit 1000 rupee as security money. You will be alloted the hostel in one to six months according to the availability of the rooms. One of the most important thing is that paramedical students are not alloted single rooms. They have to share the room with one or two students. Girls have to share the room will one girl. Boys have to share with two boys

The eligibility for this course is 12th pass with science as main stream. All the information about this course including application form, fees, dates is available on website aiimsexams.in . You will get all the importance easily on this website. The SC, ST and OBC will get the reservation benefits. If you want to get this course , you will have to give the entrance exam of aiims paramedical and according to your rank you will be selected in this course.This exam held yearly during the month of June July. The Syllabus is in accordance of NEET Syllabus. The total marks is 90. There should be some time gap in counseling result and admission process

As there are only 20 seats in this course, each class will have one senior resident doctor and one faculty to teach the students. So the interaction between the students and the teachers is very good. The faculties will teach you every details of the topic so that every students can understand. The faculties are qualified doctors with many years of experience. They teach us very nicely in lecture as well as in postings. The teachers are always available for us. We can approach them at any official time for the doubts. They are very polite and generous towards the students. They do their best to make the better future of the students.
