Established in 1987, The Indira Gandhi Krishi Viswavidyalaya is a co-educational agricultural institute which was founded through the State Legislature Act at Raipur. It is affiliated to the UGC and recognised by the ICAR. The University focuses on imparting knowledge about agriculture and allied sciences and lays emphasis on fusing technology with indigenous techniques to improve the socio-economic conditions of the rural people through various UG, PG and PhD courses.

Ans. The Indira Gandhi Krishi Viswavidyalaya does not provide any vocational, diploma or distance learning courses. However, students can apply for the ‘Chalo Gaon ki Ore’ degree programme which aims at involving students in planning, development and operation of their own farms alongside their regular coursework from the second year. This includes activities like horticulture, animal husbandry, agri-business techniques and post-harvest planning.

I didn't applied to another colleges, I wanted to study in IGKV so I gave the competitive exam PAT for admission here. And I got selected , only students having chattisgarh State domicile can give this exam . If you are not from chattisgarh you can also give the ICAR EXAM TAKEN BY NTA. Cutoff should be under 1000

I gave an ICAR entrance exam . So I got this college in my 1st round college I choose it because it was nearer to my home as compared to other colleges that I fill up in my choice filling . The university raking at the time of admission was also pretty good

To get admission ypu have to clear CGPAT exam and you get updated through a website know cgvypa. It is a state exam by which you can take admission. Aur thorugh management also you can take but through management fee is high.

As per I research I found that college best for my course . It is the top college for agriculture in my area . There was a counselling was held during admission. PAT exam is done for the admission. And I spend two year there and I realised I make a good choice for choosing this college.

I haven't applied for any other colleges. To take admission in our college you must have to score well in the pre agricultural test (PAT) an entrance exam and you can take admission by clearing ICAR UG examination as well. PAT Is mostly followed by students and the cutoff carries from Category for UR it vary around 120 marks out of 200.

Pat pre agriculture test has to be given for selection. In which 2000 seats are there and around 75000-80000 children take part in .in which to secure a proper government college general students have to come under 200 obs under 300 sc st 1500

PCMB and agriculture Student can apply in this 4year course .CG vyapam take PAT exam after these your rank decide your admission. Exam are medium to hard and all councelling process are done in UNIVERSITY RAIPUR

My admission process is through PAT exam ... My application process is after 12th and no negative marking in the exam and cut off is 70 out of 200 ...my admission is on the basis of my rank ... My rank was 400

Igkv Raipur eligibility criteria - You must have passed 12th from a recognized board with either science or maths subject that is pcb/pcm. The commerce students are not eligible for this course. The student must have a minimum of 50% marks in his/her 12th exam. 5% relaxation is there for students belonging to reserved categories. The collections are made on the basis of marks obtained by the student in the CG-PAT exam. The application form application fees and application dates are available on there official website of IGKV i.e. igkv.ac.in. The reservations are given to SC ST and OBC candidates. There is no reservation for a general candidate. This university offers scholarships for UG students. However, the candidate must keep sales of the eligibility criteria to get a scholarship. •The eligibility criteria to get the scholarship are- The income of the family should not exceeds 2.5 lakh •The UG program is of 4 years which is divided into 8 semester.
