CG PAT 2024 exam date is June 9, 2024. CG PAT 2024 registration has been closed on April 14, 2024 at vyapam.cgstate.gov.in. The provisional answer key will be released soon on the official website in the month of June 2024. The expected date of CG PAT answer key release is June 20. As per CG PAT 2024 eligibility criteria, General category students must clear their 10+2 from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. CG PAT 2024 qualifying marks set for reserved category students is 40%.
CG PAT 2024 application fee set for General category is INR 300, for OBC is INR 250, and for SC/ST/PwD is INR 200. In case you have mistakenly filled details in CG PAT 2024 application form, you can edit or modify the editable fields from April 15 to April 17, 2024. For a new student registration, you will be required to provide your first and last name, mobile number, vaild email ID. Following this, a registration ID will be generated, which will be required to fill rest of CG PAT 2024 application form.
CG PAT 2024 admit card are available on the official website in online mode only. All successfully registered candidates can download their respective CG PAT 2024 admit card by entering 15 character registration ID. It must be noted in this scenario that CG PAT 2024 admit card will not be dispatched via mail or post. Also, the admit card is one of the essential documents to be carried along on the day of CG PAT 2024 exam, and also it is required during counelling process.
The exam pattern of CG PAT 2024 includes basic details of question paper type, marking scheme, and weightage. CG PAT 2024 exam will be administered in a pen and paper based mode (OMR sheet). CG PAT 2024 question paper includes a total 150 MCQs, carrying +1 mark each. However, as per CG PAT 2024 exam pattern, no marks will be deducted for incorrect and unattempted answers, and will be marked as 0.
CG PAT 2024 is a state-level entrance examination conducted by Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board, Raipur, for admission into B.Sc. Agriculture and B.Sc. Horticulture degree courses are offered by Indira Gandhi Agriculture University (IGAU). CG PAT 2024 syllabus is different according to the course you have chosen for admission. For Science group, the questions includes core topics of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology. CG PAT 2023 Eligibility
CG PAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Prior to commencement of online application process, it is necessary to check the eligibility criteria, which are primarily the minimum academic qualifications, residential and age thresholds for candidates to appear for CG PAT 2024 entrance exam. Following are the eligibility criteria:
Residential Criteria
- The candidate must be a resident of India
- Candidate must have state domicile of Chhattisgarh
Age Limit
- Age limit for candidates belonging to General category is 25 years
- Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC), and Persons with Disability (PwD) categories, along with female candidates, must be less than 28 years of age
Academic Qualifications
- Aspirants who have passed or those who are currently pursuing 12th or equivalent examination from Chhattisgarh board or any recognized board within India.
- Must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology/ Biotechnology as compulsory subjects in 12th class
- General category candidates will have to secure at least 50% marks, while SC/ST/OBC/PwD and female candidates will have to secure a minimum of 45% marks in 12th or equivalent examination

CG PAT 2024 Application Form
The application form for CG PAT 2024 can be filled only through online mode, while the application fee can be submitted online and offline ways. Following are the steps for successful completion of online application submission
- Fill Online Application Form
- Go to the official website of the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board – www.cgvyapam.choice.gov.in
- Click on the tab ‘CG PAT 2024 Application Form’
- The candidate will be asked if he/she is a citizen of India and if he/she is a domicile of Chhattisgarh or not.
- Then they have to select one of the groups – Maths Group (PCM), Biology Group (PCB) and Agriculture Group (AG1, AG2, AG3)
- Applicants will then be directed to the Online Application Form
- Fill up personal, academic, correspondence and exam center details
- They will also be required to fill the following information – religion, preference of examination centers, identification marks, height, weight
- Click on ‘Submit’ tab
- Upload Photograph and Signature
- Must keep a scanned copy of recent passport size photograph and signature ready before filling the application form
- Upload both the images in the prescribed format and size
- Click on ‘Submit’ tab
- Payment of Application Fee
- Candidate has the option of either making the payment through online mode or taking a printout of SBI Challan and making application fee payment at any of the SBI branches
- If candidates opt to make payment through online mode, it can be done through Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking
- Payment through offline mode, will involve taking print out of SBI Challan available at the website
- Candidate will have to fill up Challan and pay the application fee at any of the SBI branches

CG PAT 2024 Counselling
All successful candidates, whose names appear on the merit list, will have to register for CG PAT 2024 Counselling at the official Board website.
- The candidate will have to register for counseling procedure on the official website of the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board
- They will have to enter all the details asked for in the form
- Option to select preferred courses and colleges in which he/she seeks admission will be given to them.
- They will have to pay the required counseling fee and it will not be refundable in case of non-admission.
- Counseling will be conducted in 1-3 rounds, depending upon the availability of seats in both the courses
