Panjab University Chandigarh Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I wanted to try other streams besides NEET and JEE so I told my parents that I wanted to pursue a BA and I got selected for this College. For further academic pursuits, you can easily get as due to exposure to open-minded people. Overall I personally don't think we need any improvement at the moment as all are top-tier. The exams are conducted well timely and so such difficulty is faced me.

our college has good placements concerning return on investment, its average package is about 8,50,000 INR, and off-campus drives in this college are also quiet handy, one just needs to focus on data structures and algorithms effectively.

from 7th semester students from all branches are eligible for placements. there are so many companies that come here .some of the top recruiters are Amazon-14 offers, Samsung-15 offers,Deloitte-14 offers,KPMG-21 offers and many more . the highest package was offerd by amazon that was 31 lpa and the average package offerd here is 900000 and almost 90 percents students get placed here . my plans are to get a descent package in a good company.

Placements here are decent. I took admissions in this course due to practicals and labs. Minor exams are held twice a semester and major exams are held once every semester. Infrastructure can be improved.

The curriculum is designed which made the learning quite easy. There were presentations and many other activities conducted to make the program interesting... Presentations and teachers notes were provided for easy learning of the subjects. Teachers are really

Well structured classrooms, faculty members They provide real-world examples or their experiences. Breaks should be provided between the lectures for the refreshment of the students. The timings of the exams were 1:30 to 4:30 because it was affiliated with PUNJAB UNIVERSITY CHANDIGARH. So we have to manage the timings

Placement cell is not that good here.Although students become eligible for campus placements in their 4th sem only..but no good companies visit here.Till the time i am in college. only good company i have seen visiting is ACCENTURE from where 10-15 students got placed with avg package of 4-5 lpa( for my batch 2021-2024) Also companies like Airtel,Arvind fashions, Concentric,Etc visitied the campus I can't say about the %age of students getting placed but in my batch i have not seen good no. pf students getting placed honestly. Generallt students prefer for masters or any govt exam preparation after getting their degree if they do not get placed.

My plan is to go for MCA but there is placement cell in college which is run by students by supervised by staff .Packages are not that high.Mant companies like Airtel ,tata also come . Apparently highest package are unknown

The teaching mood is very good teacher are very helping the provide books that we can't found in the Library. Mid sem test also help by this student know about their performances. Snap test is also conduct by the teachers

Teachers are knowledgeable and impart great lectures in their respective subjects .the faculty and staff is really cooperative and ready to help at all times .workshops are held at regular intervals by various departments to help students gain more knowledge and expertise in their respective subjects.The academics of the college is very much convincing for a student who is willing to study there. Professors, as well as students, are so ambitious. students are able to get University rank. All the professors and staff are so cooperating when it comes to the academic need of a student. I am enrolled in a Psychology course and I am able to gain practical and theoretical experience by studying there.
