Everyone is friendly .all professors are helpful.very impactful teaching and very good experience and overall development.good coding environment and healthy competition among students.overall very knowledgeable and helpful faculty.
Pleacement of the college is going very nice many good company like google yahoo microsoft twitter comming for take placement and avg package of the electrical engineering students is 1200000,and cse students avg package is 1500000
Fee can vary between 4500 per semester to 60000 per semester .scholarship like minority-1,gen-1, sc-1, ... are provided to help students to complete there 4 year course without feeling financial burden

Dislikes

The placement for 2020-24 batch was not too nice like previous year .
Due to very low area ,we are somewhat feel problematic when have to organise any event at bigger level.
There will be no scholarship provided by any government site .about the placement is not good enough, especially for our branch the placement is too low and who have they got it a very low salary .

Likes

The campus are very good as like private college and also environment are good
Teachers are very supportive and they are transferring good knowledge.
nearby there is ganga river which is good peaceful places.

Dislikes

Food facility is very poor in our college
hostel facility are very poor and not good
some of the seniors are not supportive and some of the teachers are not good

Placement Experience:

In 4th semester we are egligable for placement and lots of company are offered the job in NIT patna ( Tcs, Mando, Wipro, etc.) 1.2 cr is the highest packages which is offered by Facebook. 100 percent placemet are there . I am currently doing job in Automotive company.

ragging of a bit in initial by our seniors .
no frequent fests are organised in our college.
does not invvite celebrities like other colleges.

Placements in my college is comparitevely good compared to other colleges. I f in case I cannot get campus placements then I can apply off-campus for my placements need .Being it in companies like yours I would surely look forward to work with .

Best College For Engineering in India

Extremely relevant course structure and curriculum
Very experienced and supportive faculties
Beautiful Campus Location at the banks of Ganga River

Dislikes

Extremely Small Campus that ends in 5 minutes of walk
No Night Canteens, Often Fests are cancelled, very inactive clubs
Very old and poor infrastructure in classroom and library

Placement Experience:

Placements at NIT Patna are extremely good and it is mostly known for it's lucrative packages and placements. Students become eligible for campus placement in their final year that is 7th semester onwards provided they have no any active backlog and their CGPA is Greater than 6. In 2024 , about 120 big companies visited Nit Patna including Google, Amazon, Samsung, L&T, Microsoft, Accenture, Wipro, Deloitte, Morgan Stanley, PwC, Infosys, McAFee and many more Highest package in 2023 was 1.6 crore, a girl from ECE department secured this offer from Amazon. Average package is about 12 Lakh per annum. Roles offered were Graduate Engineer Trainee, Data Analyst, Product Manager, Software development engineer, Data Scientist, project manager, research trainee, quality engineer, VLSI-Engineer and many more. About 80% of students got placed last year and 96% of electrical Engineering students got placed. My short term goal is to get a good on campus placement and my long term goal is to pursue an MBA from elite institutions like IIM and also prepare for UPSC.

College clubs like singing club, drama clubs and most important the Startup club

Dislikes

College campus is too short I expected more but it's too short to be honest

Placement Experience:

The placements are quite very good which makes college even more beautiful .The average package of my college is around 12-14 lacks where CS average is around 15 lac. The highest placement is in crores

A life in a decent NIT

Likes

Placements in our college is good, the average package of our college is 12 lakhs/year.
The sports facilities are also decent, you have volleyball ball, football, badminton, table tennis and many games in which our college also participates in inter NIT competitions
The peer group in our college is good as it is a NIT and everyone in our college has come after cracking a very tough JEE exam.

Dislikes

The campus is too small, we all have dreamt that after cracking JEE, we will experience a big campus, but to our hopes, NIT PATNA disappointed us brutually
Recent placements are not good , may be due to recession.
The management is not at all supportive.

Placement Experience:

The placements in our college is good and nearly more than 85 percent students gets placed at an average package of more than 10 lakhs. Cse has the highest placements with averaging at more than 18 lakhs/ year.

Fees are affordable as for sts students the fees is almost of for OBC students the fees is 2 3rd of and for general they have to pay
Professors professors are quite knowledgeable as they teach good
75% attendance is there which is easy to maintain and some professors even at two maintain 60% attendance

Dislikes

The campus area is very small all the buildings are near to one another the playground is very small
The hostel facilities are not good specially for girls as they share for roommates
The college does not respond good they do not provide proper fund if you want to go outside for some sports

Placement Experience:

For the placement purpose students becomes eligible from the last second semester of there course which is usually the 7th semester or the companies visited for the mechanical are few but they are good once the number of offer same car approximately 22:30 the highest page or the average package we can talk about and the percentage of students getting place last year was 100% according to the college and my pants after getting the degree I need to take one placement

Place of nit Patna is too much lovable due to ganga ghat
Small things is needed to improve hostel and messs is ok but need to renovate
Professor and management is strictly behaviour

In Campus all things are good but fir sports only one ground
Swimming pool facility is not available in the campus
Mess rules is too much strict and harsh 😭

College is good if you have better qualities.

Likes

Faculties are well educated and they provide best mentorship to us and their teaching methods are very specific that no student is left with any doubt.
Here another subject for all courses is added which is swaachh bharat misson and many campaigns are running in it making the surroundings clean.
Infrastructure is quite good even in the small area you've got ground for every sport.

Dislikes

A new campus is under construction but still students are shifted there in that dusty area, which has not built proper basic healthcare system library or any playground. Students there feel depressed, frustrated.no ones is happy there
Institute has not provided any transport facility to go to nearby market areas in the new campus.
Area of the new campus has rumours about naxalite area , mafia gang people are scared of living there.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement from the 6th semester. Companies like Microsoft,Amazon,TCS ,L&T,Morganstanley,oracle,vedanta,samsung, Google,Adobe.over 103 companies visited our institute. The highest package this year is 45lpa and the lowest package is 6lpa . Percentage of students getting placed is 74.96%.

Threads of NIT Patna

Likes

The college provides a fantastic job opportunity to the deserving ones.
The overall crowd is good as majority wants to hustle and achive.
The faculty are supporting and eager to help you.

Dislikes

The campus size is too small that restrict some sport facilities.
The HMC management does not do anything at the required time.
The classroom quality is not as that much compared to other NIT's.

Placement Experience:

The placement scenario of the institute is quite good as they made a bar through which company can offer packages above 6 LPA to the students. The recent data shows every years the placement stats is improving. In Mechanical engineering the average is about 8.5 LPA, meduan is about 9LPA, highest is about 19 LPA.

I like academics they are very chill and light weight. The curriculum is designed to keep up with industry trends , and the emphasis on practical learning through labs workshops, and research opportunities .
The campus life of Nit Patna equipped with all the facilities despite of being a small campus of about 36 acres.
Nit Patna foster a vibrant culture atmosphere through various events , festivals and extracurricular activities.

Dislikes

Sometimes i feel Nit Patna bit crowdy and suffocating.

Placement Experience:

Placements at NIT Patna are strong , with companies like Google , Amazon , and Tcs visiting. Students become eligible from the 7th semester . Highest Packeges reaches to 45 - 50 Lpa.while average packages are 6-10 Lpa.
