Faculty in my department are very good .i like the way of their teaching they are ready to entertain your doubts ready to take extra classes
The placements opportunities here are very good, as the college has some of the very best company connections thus helping us to have a bright placement opportunity.
Many scholarships are available you can avail anything one of my friends hot 50000 scholarship from ngo and it is perfect year .so that he can study well .

Dislikes

The internet was a big big disappointed, no wifi in cvr hostes );
I don't like the washing machines provided. they don't work most of the times and not good care is taken for them.
Food i was bit dissatisfied with mess food and bored of it

IIT Patna review

Likes

One of the most curated course curriculum, the best in the 2nd gen IITs
Beautiful campus but still room for development
The environment inside the campus is plasent and beautiful

Dislikes

Mess food can be of better quality. There is the room for improvement, Breakfast would be amazing but lunch and dinner is almost like poor.
Hostels are too small for accomdation, currently institute is quite over populated. 2 students are forced to live in a room designed and constructed for single accomdation
Lesser amount of industry exposure and campus full potential is under usage, Also the number of eating outlets and options outside the campus for South indians are very low.

Placement Experience:

Students will be eligible for internships from 5th semseter , usually they do summer internships in the summer break of 3rd year. from 7th semester students will be eligible for FTE roles. U can find the details of companies and offers in official TPC page

Likes

It's hostel for freshers is very nice . It's lecture halls and labs are quite good.
Have well equipped gym and sports complex.
It also have Nescafe and food court for some nice and cool food and snacks.

Dislikes

Cleaning near hostel area is not up to the mark
Cricket ground is not that good. it lacks the lights to play in night
Does not have any shops for sweets in the campus 😞

Placement Experience:

The placement of CSE department is very good . And actually the average package is around 30 LPA and the median goes around 34 LPA. However there are no any batch placed yet from Data science and Artificial intelligence branch.

IITP: An unimaginable institutie

The faculy and Staff: All the faculties are very good and are highly qualified having done thier studies from abroad from prestigious colleges like MIT.
Environment: The whole iitp campus is really refreshing and nature oriented it has a lot of greenery and lot of animals in the campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I used to have a keen interest in science that lead me to choosing science with computer science in class 11. Physics being one of my favourite subject helped me a lot to develop interest in further studies. It was then I got to know iit jee better from the class 11 and then the hustle began. The application of the curriculum prepares you to handle real life situations, I still see any scenario and kind of apply Physics to it so that I get a good overview of the scenario. I would say it has prepared me for almost everything those sleepless night, the journey from school to coaching and then Coaching to home. My studies got disturbed a lot in class 11 due to corona virus as all institute and school adopted the digital mode for me digital mode was no quite suitable as I was not able to concentrate, the online mode was not good for me if there was offline mode I could have done better. The difficulty of the exam was quiet hard and it was lengthy too. It was a game of strategy.

My Experience at IIT Patna

Likes

Central Library is biggest attraction of the campus.
The campus have 24X7 available sports facilities.

Dislikes

There are a less number of general shops inside the campus.
The campus is in outer area of Patna. So some students find it difficult to reach the campus.

Placement Experience:

Campus Placements are the main attraction for students taking admission in IITPatna. Students from 7 th semester are eligible for on-campus placements. Companies like Google , Atlassian , Flipkart , Sprinkler and many more offer internship oppurtunies and placements on regular basis. In CSE departments the placement rate is 100 percent.

Sweet and short

Likes

College environment , participation in various clubs
Social life, interaction , peaceful nature
Greenary, sports facilities, Gymkhana facilities

Dislikes

Accommodation of room for one person is not available
Some times we often Get bored of the daily activities
We may not be happy with the regular meal menu

Placement Experience:

The placements are above avg to good, from 5th semester onwards students are allowed for internships, approximately 30-40 companies visit Every year,90 Percent of the students are getting placed Every year,highest package was 1 cr till now and the average is 8lakh per annum

Likes

Sports. Has many sports to play and can learn from the basics
Fest. Not that great but the cultural fest is good
Campus area. The campus is big but most of the space is left unused, it is nice and peaceful to walk around the campus at night

Dislikes

Food. Not that bad but could be better .
Hostel room. Not spacious, it's a single occupancy room for two people due to large batch strength
Hostel facilities. Very few washing machines and geysers r not efficient

Placement Experience:

A good number of students are placed here.. I have heard that the average package for cse branch is around 25 lakhs per annum. Our college is growing in many aspects. Internship start from 3rd year and placements in fourth year

Placement Experience:

96% of students got placed in 2022. 154 companies visited our campus and made 412 offers. The average package for CSE was 38 LPA and the highest package was 82 LPA (domestic) in 2022. Fourth-year students are eligible for campus placements.
