NIT Silchar Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

It was my dream to do Engineering and Josaa Counseling dropped me in this college. Though I listed this college in my choice list because campus is okay and placement scenerio is decent. So It's okayish for me.

Interested in my course and college has good infrastructure, good faculty well. It comprises various events like competitions, exhibits, coding rounds, hackathons, robotic events and talks from guest speakers from all over India.

I like to work in mechanical field,and the cost of tution fee is less,and college is improving it's standards year by year, As tution fee is less I can study the other things easily with out any burden on me.

National Institute of Technology is a Govt Engineering college and pursuing engineering from this institution was a dream for me. When I crack JEE mains and got my admission to this Institution I was very happy.

It's a reputed college and stands in 9th position in Nirf and there are various courses in the college and different clubs to join,We can opt as many as we are interested in and I also love to study in different states and to their culture.

It is the under the top 10 NITs and under the India's top 50 engineering college. It has good placement records. It has asia's biggest digital library. It is 2nd topmost college of north east after IIT Guwahati.

It is the institute of national importance. We get a NIT tag. My ranking was not satisfactory and couldn't get the home stqte college. It was the college which fulfilled my expectations of good rankings as well as a branch of my choice and college with great surrounding and atmosphere.

Good environment conditions with large number of of trees and lakes and mountains nearby and with whole year rainy season making good atmosphere throughout the year. Large number of good faculties with huge teaching experience available. Scope of research is very high with large number of dedicated scholars. Good education facility with best library and best transportation facility to reach from home to college and college to city nearby.

NIT Silchar is an institute of national importance in which we get admission based on our ranks in an entrance, so that was the institute I got through the entrance. Morever, it is in the same state as my residence, further the overall NIRF ranking is very good. NIT Silchar ranks 7th among all the NITs in India and the placement statistics is also very good with an average of 7 - 8 LPA for Computer Science graduate.

Various programmes are conducted in our college. Teachers are helpful in many ways, and they are professional in their work. Various fields have self-devoted professors. The course curriculum is a bit outdated, but it is a bit helpful in industry work. Faculty members are mediocre, and most of them are above-average
