Faculty is good mostly teacher are permanent they have good knowledge and commond in subject
The hostel or accommodation facility are the best for me in the campus.
Campus life is very good has cultural events and sports events and beauty of campus is great campus is almost 2300 acres good environment and nice architecture feels peace and full freedom has full greenary

Dislikes

Hostel's bathrooms and toilets get dirty fast as many people use them.
The mess food are not really very good and sometimes its not edible

Always Ranked in India's Top 10 universities
India's Fourth Largest University, beautiful open campus where you can see deers, peacocks, some beautiful lakes inside the campus
Library facilities, lab facilities everything is good

Dislikes

Sometimes mess foods are not that much good

Placement Experience:

In 12th semester or last semester students become eligible for campus placements. Vision Express, Lawrence and Mayo these companies visited and offered for jobs. Students will get 100% placements. Now I'm doing job in Vision Express.

Curriculum was really good, all the teacher's were nice, there were proper labs and everything
Library was 24/7 open and we can access all the books and online resources
We can borrow books for almost 2 months and that really helps

Dislikes

The food there was really bad, mess wasn't that good
North hostels conditions are really bad, but south ones are good
Some washrooms weren't cleaned on time and somewhat smelled

Placement Experience:

I don't know much about the placements, but students do get placed but most of the people that do come here is mainly to study and go for higher studies and not necessarily to get a job after completing the degree

Optometry course review of HCU

HCU offers a vibrant academic environment and a commitment to research excellence.The campus is known for its lush greenery and modern facilities which create an inspiring setting for students.
The supportive community and numerous extracurricular opportunities enhance the overall student experience making HCU a distinguishable place for higher learning
The faculty members are highly qualified and dedicated , fostering a culture of intellectual curiosity and innovation

Dislikes

The infrastructure while generally good can sometimes feel outdated or in need of maintenance. The administrative process may be slow and cumbersome which can create frustration for both students and staff
The optometry department needs to be improve its infrastructure maily the clinics . It does not have all the equipments which makes it difficult for the students to learn practically
Optical outlet placements are more compared to hospital outlets

Placement Experience:

University offers placement. But it is more of optical outlet. If you are someone looking to work for hospital then you need to find it by yourself. This course is a 100% job opportunity one. You can either go for reasearch, you can work in hospitals, opticals, MNCs and you can even set up your clinic .

University of Hyderabad -All Aspects revealed

Better atmosphere,Best teachers and Research oriented curriculum
Library here has each and every books referred by our proffesors
Also the atmosphere and campus is really calm and peacefull

Dislikes

Vast syllabus sometimes pisses students off
Bsc level books are sometimes unavailable
One or two teachers are a bit problematic evenif majority are not

Course curriculum is really relevant but sometimes they all pile up in a single semester rather than being taught uniformly throughout the whole 3 years.That has been an issue for IMsc 4th sem students this year

Campus is filled with people from all walks of life and you can learn a lot from them
campus is big and filled with greenery, lakes, and wildlife.
Food in canteen is very affordable and good compared to places outside of university

Dislikes

Hostel's bathrooms and toilets get dirty fast as many people use them.
Management is inefficient and takes moths to solve any issue

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester (3rd Year) it is compulsary for all the students to do a 1 year Internship to avail their Bachelors degree. Highest package was 6 lakh per annum. All the students usually get placement.

Nothing is like a mainly dislike here everything is very well and good the point is that this environment was like a very different kind of world so don't will like easily this university makes our strong person in that subject respected department s

Placement Experience:

In degree the third year students or eligible for campus placements with respected departments. The private companies in Hyderabad provide the placements. These average packages depend upon the different departments for example in the maths department the highest placement salary is 12 lacs per annum. For every year minimum of up to 32 50% of students get placements in various companies. So my plan is that, after completing my degree I want to go to the NITs for my MSc studies.

Placement Experience:

In the last year of campus, there are some placements offered. In science, mainly in laboratories.12 lakhs per year is the average placement salary. Only 10 percent of the students will get placements. But there are many internships and research opportunities for us to go ahead.

Placement Experience:

As far as I know we don't have placements at the University of Hyderabad But after completing their degree from the University of Hyderabad we'll get easily placed. Many students after completing their degree plan for PhD.

Hyderabad central university is the best university in India. It got second place in India. It is one of the best university from all other universities. In Hyderabad central university the facilities are good. In Hyderabad central university there is a integrated studies.

Remarks:

One negative remark would be regarding the mess food. The mess food usually tends to be something which most people find miserable. Another aspect of our university which dissapoints me is the really less amount of holidays for any cultural festivals.

The University of Hyderabad is a lot more than academics. I have a few friends from the University of Hyderabad and here is their insight on the institute.

There are various places you can explore on the campus including the Water Tank, Mushroom Rock, and Check Dam.
Apart from this, you can do campfires on campus, where you can gather with your friends even at late nights and can cook food and enjoy.
The University of Hyderabad is not just an institute that provides academics and education. It helps a student gain experience and understands the true meaning of life which is more important than being a reading parrot.
The campus is a beautiful and large lush green campus which is so huge that it is further divided into two campuses where students can jog, play any kind of sports be it outdoor or indoor, ranging from Tennis to Football or gym, etc. Therefore, the campus encourages sports at every level.
The faculty base of the institute is quite good. They are experienced and cooperative.
The Indira Gandhi Memorial Library is a great place to study. There are lots of study materials and books.
The hostels are clean and well-maintained. There are mess facilities available at each hostel. They provide breakfast, lunch, and dinner. But the quality of food offered is not that great.
The University gives freedom to a student to stay up late at night, to go out of the campus at any hour. You can visit Tankbund or the places you wish to and can be back early morning. There’s no one to supervise.

Therefore, you can opt for the University of Hyderabad without thinking twice.

The University of Hyderabad offers B.Sc. Optometry as an integrated course to the students. Admission to the B.Sc. + M.Sc Optometry integrated course is offered on the basis of CUET UG examination.
