There is a huge liberary available in university of Hyderabad
The spatial area of University is around 2000 acres making it more free

Dislikes

Politics at the University is more by various Political parties
Hostels should be improved. Sometimes there will be power cuts

1.) During odd semesters fees will be more 2.) Odd semester fees is 5000 3.) Even semester fees is 2500 4.) Fees we pay include health insurance, Students Union fund,Welfare fund 5.)Scholarships are available 6.) If you have epass you can get Scholarship 7.)Apart from epass there are other scholarships available 8.)As this is an University of eminence you can get 5000 if you top the semester

Faculty are very much expert most of them are PhD graduate from reputed institute and some from foreign universities
This institute has got title of institute of eminence

Dislikes

More focused on research rather than placement
Mess food are not much better to eat and some kind of dish north indian

A life in UOH

Likes

I like the greenary of the campus..and nature.The campus has many beautiful places and animals such as peacocks deers and many more
Coming to the faculty there are very highly talented and their teach skills are outstanding

Dislikes

The quality of mess food is below average
Even the mess fee are little high.. even though the food is bad

Fees and Financial Aid:

The annual fee for our course is 54000 without including hostel fee and mess fee. Both hostel and mess fee takes an amount of 40000. Scholarship is only available for students of Telangana but students from other states do not have any scholarships

Optometry course review of HCU

Likes

HCU offers a vibrant academic environment and a commitment to research excellence.The campus is known for its lush greenery and modern facilities which create an inspiring setting for students.
The supportive community and numerous extracurricular opportunities enhance the overall student experience making HCU a distinguishable place for higher learning

Dislikes

The infrastructure while generally good can sometimes feel outdated or in need of maintenance. The administrative process may be slow and cumbersome which can create frustration for both students and staff
The optometry department needs to be improve its infrastructure maily the clinics . It does not have all the equipments which makes it difficult for the students to learn practically

Fees and Financial Aid:

You need to pay the fees semester wise. In one semester the fees will be ?19,910 and in the next semester it will be ?21,110 approximately. So this is a 6 year course and approximately you need to pay ?1,40,000 for this course. We do receive OBC optometric scholarship if you belongs to OBC. University also provides stipend of Rs 500-800 every month

University has good cultural events and sports events

Food is not soo good before corona it was good now it is ok

Fee structure is very good 30000 tution fee per semester and 500 rs hostel fee for semester and mess is is almost 3000 per month comming to financial assistance you will get 1000 per month called University fellowship if you are eligible

Library here has each and every books referred by our proffesors

Dislikes

Vast syllabus sometimes pisses students off
Bsc level books are sometimes unavailable

Fees and Financial Aid:

Fee structure is really affordable even for the underprivileged.for the whole year you have to pay only around 9000-10000 as even semesters have a fee of 3725 and odd semesters have a fee about 6500.Mess fee is also there but the room rent is just 500 for the whole year.

Good curriculum, faculties, good place for studious students,
The atmosphere is really good, not too crowded

Dislikes

Not too people around you, not a good place for extroverts
Transport facilities are not good, ita 2700 acre university so travelling will be difficult

For our course their is no campus placements, but u have an opportunity to build up connections for your work, you can get lots of workexperiense by working with various skilled people, it helps, Financially there are many scholarships i dont know more about it.

A Comprehensive Review of University of Hyderabad (school of social science and humanities)

Likes

Campus is beautiful, you can see forest different rocks etc
Air-conditioning in Classrooms and also a digital board there

Dislikes

Mess of the campus are not so good, food they serve is pathetic
Bus service in the campus is also pathetic because the aren't come on time

Tuition fee increases every year by 200 rupee, In 2023 I payed 7400 for tuition fee and 3500 for hostel and mess charge, you have to pay 3000 after every semester (hostel fees included) and 2500 for mess every month . You can get your MA degree by paying only 15 to 18 thousands in 2 years There is a DAG scholarship provided by university that is 1000/month and you can also get national scholarships. Placement cell of the university is not so good in school of social science.

University of Hyderabad - A home away

Likes

One of the best universities in India. What a campus. Beauty. Rich flora and fauna.
Department of political science is best. Faculty is top notch. Academics is comprehensive.

Dislikes

Food is one of the problem. It should improve.

Fees and Financial Aid:

For masters in political science fees is around 10 K. Hostel accomodation comes for 500 RS per semester and mess bill is anywhere between 2200-2500 per month. Also there's is per month 1000 rs scholarship provided you meet certain criteria.

University of Hyderabad : A natural campus full with academic rigour

Likes

The campus is so nature friendly that everyone will love it. There are lot of rocks, lakes, open air spaces to chill and it makes this campus more interesting.
The academics here is very strict and therefore provides you with lot of opportunities to explore the subject. Especially, for research this university is the best.

Dislikes

The mess food. It's mostly south indian and therefore very difficult for a north indian guy to manage. But once you manage it will be alright.
The lack of public transport in the city. Everybody has to depend on Ola Uber if they want to go out of the campus.

Fees and Financial Aid:

There is no specific rate of hike. But in the last three years, they have increased the fees by 500. So it's almost 5000 per semester. In total, it's 25,000 per semester including food charges. One scholarship for master's students: 1000 per month. For PhD if you JRF then it's done or you will get 8,000 per month. There are good placements.
