Our college is really neat and clean it is maintained well there are many trees and it looks so beautiful
Of now i am getting a scholarship from a trust which is located in karnataka.campus placements are also pretty good
Placement in this college is very nice the student with good academics can get the job in very good company

Dislikes

There is nothing in our college in name of scholarship for obc and general and even no financial assistance is provided and no job on campus .
Here they will conduct 2 fests named spring spree and techhnozion and after they won't even care about fests all they do is they do whatever they want it is stress full we can't enjoy our college life
Hostels are poor and not upto the mark,even the food in the mess in not that good ,they provide very bad food,no quality no taste nothing,one have to depend on the other sources of food to have proper health

Pros and cons of my college

Likes

Infrastructure, the college is vast with so much greenery and is very accessible so commuting from home to college is easy

Dislikes

Lack of coordination among students, and very few or none industrial tours

Placement in my college are quite decent famous companies like Microsoft, Qualcomm, Accenture, come to my college to select students regularly the highest package offered in my college was 88LPA and the median package for all branches combined is around 18LPA. For now around 90 percent of eligible students got placed and I got placed and am planning to work for now.

chemical engineering for software students

Placements cell is excellent here and get good companies
Courses for students related to software are provided by seniors
Good facilities for sports are provided in the institute

Dislikes

Mess food has to be improved in the camous
Hostel facilities are not up to the mark.
Attendance criteria must be reduced for final year students.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 6th semester for internships which is extended for Full time based on the performance in internships.I am interested in software field where companies are open for chemical like Oracle,Meesho, Saplabs etc.95% percentage of students are placed and 15lpa is the avg package.

Placement Statistics.NIT Warangal consistently ranks highly in job placements, helping a large number of students land their ideal positions.
Participating in club events and gaining exposure to other fields will help you concentrate on your extracurricular activities.
Sports Centers.There is a stadium at NIT Warangal where people may play sports including football, cricket, and other games.

Dislikes

Hostel maintenance is not so good despite paying so much amount basic facilities like bathroom is not there
Mess food is not so good.Many students are dissatisfied with the kess

Placement Experience:

The number of placements this year (2024) has decreased due to the recession in the IT sector.However, NIT WARANGAL is typically recognized for its placements. 800 students have been placed so far with an average LPA of 12 across all courses.More than 200 businesses have come this year to hire.60% of the students that were placed were in a variety of fields.(It was 80% the year before). The highest-priced package, from Thoughtspot, cost 88LPA. After I graduate, I want to continue my education.

I like the sports facilities in the campus.
RESEARCH PROJECTS ARE HIGHLY ENCOURAGED AND Provide sufficient funds to it.
The faculty here are highly experienced and friendly

Dislikes

I did not like the mess food here as it is private contract
The transportation facility in the campus is not up to the mark.
Hostel facilities must be improved and renovated

Course Curriculum Overview:

Chemical engineering course mostly has the concepts related to physics and mathematics.My rank was close to the chemical engineering at nit Warangal and was keen on choosing a better college.We definitely have more industrial visits related to oil and natural gas companies.We were mostly taught based on the ppts but we need a live sessions. The exams were moderate level and correction was also difficult.

Extracurricular actives.Clubs and associations provide all round development of the student

Hostel maintanence is not at all good despite paying good punt of fees.
Mess food is not at all good.Many students are not satisfied with mess.

Every year our college is top among all the NITs in placement but this year the number dropped significantly due to recession. A total 850 students around 60 percent students has Been placed with an average package of 13 LPA.Highest package was from thought spot company 88LPA

Placements every season will be quite good.In fact among all the NITS our NIT is top in placements.But this year due to recession placement number has been doppped significantly.Only 60 percent people had been placed. Highest package was around 88LPA.Average was around 12 LPA

Likes

Library is the best place of our institution
Infrastructure of our college is great and our college is so green and clean.
Some of our really great faculty they teach very well and they are ready to interact with students

Dislikes

Mess food which is not good and we have to walk out of our institution to get another food because most of our stalls was remo6
Hostel are too congested and really need to change our bathrooms
We roam in our college after 12 and can't go outside after 10 they good for safety but i hate it , because some times we really need to go out

In your 4th year we can sit for placements. We are not supposed to list our companies and salaries according to our college policy. The highest would be around 44lpa in cse i think last year it was 88lpa. ( Everyone don't get like it) Most of the students will be placed unless you are unlucky. Around 80% will be placed. Doing my job which I got through my college placements.

All about nit Warangal

Likes

Very good placement opportunities is the 1 st thing i like about nit Warangal.
Beautiful campus life with Greenery everywhere.
Amazing sports facilities available and gym

Dislikes

Course is still not updated and we are still studying traditional mechanical engineering
Clubs and societies are not that much active as they use to be
Internal north and south politics which gets ugly sometimes.

Placement Experience:

So placement of nit Warangal is very good. For mechanical engineering students, average package is around 15 lpa . More than 100 offers comes every yr. Last yr highest package was around 32 lpa and lowest around 6 lpa .for mechanical engineering students, companies like tata ,bajaj ,itc and some psu comes every yr Every yr around 95% students gets placed. So my plan after degree is to get a placement in core sector.

Likes

First thing I liked is about the management which is friendly with us unlike the other colleges where strict rules are present
There are many clubs where every talent is encouraged
The teachers are highly professional and are motivated

Dislikes

The hostels in which we stay are not that good
The private mess food will not be tasty and use low quality ingredients
The attendance rule that is 80% is not Good

Placement Experience:

The campus placements are on a high level The packages will be high compared to the other colleges and the companies like Google, Microsoft will offer the jobs related to coding The respective core jobs like Texas,Tata and Qualcomm will also offer jobs

Placement Experience:

Final year students are eligible for campus placements and 3rd years can apply for internships. Based on your performance in internships they will offer PPO . Average package 7 lakhs per annum. As placements not complete yet we don't know the highest package
