GITAM Visakhapatnam Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Placements for bca were decent but not as strong as engineering. Studies become eligible in the 5th semester with companies like TCS, Wipro, Deloitte, Infosys, Accenture visiting, highest package was around 7 to 12 lpa , while the Lowest is 3 to 4 lpa . In engineering courses abt 70 to 80 percentage gets placement but in Bca it's 50-60 percentage mainly in it support and software trainee roles.

the course curriculam in gitam in the field of computer application is relevence. this strong techinology base equis student with essential skills and perpares them for the real world it challenge. the gitam bca curriculam is a solid foundation for a creer in tech with potential to dtay aligned with industry evolution

They provide so many internships in college.they provided some internships like sap, TCS, Accenture, etc My plans after getting I will go to higher studies because if I have only bca degree I don't have a value

In campus exams will be in this way: one mid exam per semester which is for 30 marks and another exam is sem exam which is also for 30 marks. And also internals are for 70 marks. There will be two lab exams.

From the last sem students are eligible for the placements . They required atleast 7.5 cgpa . The highest package they offer for our group is 8lpa. My plans after my degree is getting a job or moving on to my higher studies .

In gitam placements are good in previous years but this year due to recession the companies are taking very few people due to which students are struggling very much and they trying to go to higher studies or off campus jobs.

From 5th semester students are eligible for placement, and for B.TECH from 6-7 semester students are eligible for placement. Avg. Package for undergraduate is 3-4 LPA. About 80-85% student get placement.

After the 3rd-semester students get emails about applying for on-campus placement and some. Offers for BCA were not so high it was around 4-5 lakhs pa and companies visited were many like Deloitte, Airtel, etc 20% of students got placed from BCA of my batch. The highest package was around 5 lakhs pa I'll consider doing Mca In future

I choose this college because they are providing best quality of education and they are also providing best placements for students and college has good infrastructure and it also provides best hostel facility with good food

Positive is that they provide good knowledge with good facilities and ofcourse the best infrastructure they have with a huge number of admissions and huge number of faculty also so that student won't lag in anything. Negative thing is that the transportation service is not that good
