- It offers a great placement after the course completion, companies like microsoft, amazon google, flipkart and other companies like goldman sachs come to recruit new freshers in their companies and even offer internships as well.
- The fests conducted in our college are worth enjoying and marvelous talent is encouraged.
- No fees hike policy.cost to study is a bit high for a government organisation but it's worth it.scholarship opportunities financial assistance and job opportunities are very satisfactory over here.
Dislikes
- The scholarship availability should not be below 5 lakh.. it should be a larger number beacuse 5 lakh income is lower income than a lower middle class family.
- The faculty advisor is a very rude and strict person who doesn't understand the student's problems.
- Placements for lower branches are not that good and being a remote area more companies are not coming to college

- We have more time to study, college timings are 8am to 6:15pm, but we don't have all periods, every period 55mins, in between we have some free periods, that time we go for library and we revision before class, some times we have 2 periods only
- Total campus 600acrs, so many trees , good environment, long campus
- sports allowed , good ground , grounds are available at opposite of boys hostels.
Dislikes
- Some times classes starts at 8 am , some times ends at 6:15pm
Placement Experience:
Placemants are start from january. All mtech 1st year 1st semister completed students are elgible based on CGPA. Some Companies ask more than 7cgpa.
For my department Nvidia, Qualcomm, Intel, Texas,NXP semiconductiors, anolag devices, Media teck,Synapse design,sienens, etc.,

- Our college is having good infrastructure with Stadiums and playgrounds
- Our college has a wifi facility everywhere
- Our college is filled with greenery and pollution free atmosphere
Dislikes
- Placements are average compared to IITs and Few NITs
- Hostel food is not upto the mark, It needs to be improved
- Curriculum and Course work is little bit hectic
Placement Experience:
Our college is providing many placement opportunities and internship opportunities. We are eligible for internship from 1st semister onwards and Full time placements after completion of 1st year. Many companies like ADI, Samsung, Nvidia, Intel, Google, Apple, Ola, Mediatech,etc,.... will visit our college every year. almost 90% of students are getting placements every year. I want to join in a core company after completion of M.Tech.

- The culture in the college is nice there are pepple from many parts of country
- The sports and games are held in a very good way.
- The fests are the main attraction of the college inculding placements.
Dislikes
- The rooms and food is not that much good.
- The rules of the college are not that much satisfied.
- The circulum of having 85 percent of Attendance is not good
Placement Experience:
The placements are so good. Our average package is 14 lacks and the very good thing is maximum people will get placed.the only bad part is that there is very less communication regarding placements in the clg.

- Basically from my point of view there is a lot of thing that should be appreciated like examination system is fully partial and as a student you would know each and everything on time.if i talk about campus life its one of the best part of college
- life you get a lot of chance to flourish your personality as you head a lot of chance through different festival, sports event, concert. If talk about faculties all are highly qualified except some personally i dont like their teaching methodology.
- Placement record of this college is really awsm almost 100%.In terms of infrastructure you get one of the best engineering college in india.
Dislikes
- I also observed some of the flaws which should be improved like teaching methodology of some of the professor is not upto the marks they must be informed to improve through feedback collected by student. Apart from this Course work need to be changed
- as some of the irrelevant subject is thought which is completely outdated in present scenario
Placement Experience:
Placement record of this college is really very good, almost 100% percent. For this specialisation highest package is around 38 lpa ctc and median is around 8-10 lpa. Major core recuriter are intel, qualcommn, mediatek, samsung, and many more Company from software industry, anylsyst, marketing, edtech etc.
Im going to work in mnc

Placement Experience:
We have organised placement cell in our college. They shall assist us in all possible ways. Lots of email and messages shall be pinged to students to be prepared for upcoming campus placements of various companies.

- College provides internship opportunities which enhances skill of students. Campus placement is also very good.
- One of the most beautiful campus across country.
- Many workshops and seminar organised for skill development.
Dislikes
- Biometric attendance is compulsory for Mtech students
- City is quite far from the college campus.
- Only cycle is allowed in campus. So you can't use bike.
Placement Experience:
Placement is very good.
Almost 80? students gets placed every year.
Average package is aroung 8 LPA.
Highest package is around 15 LPA.
If someone don't get placed they can opt for PhD from some reputed IIT

Course Curriculum Overview:
Course was easy for most of the cases or times, but felt some difficulties in some subjects like NANO, topics like surface plasmon resonance, etc. Timings are good and feasible, you'll get a lot of free time for whatever you want to do.

Course Curriculum Overview:
It was good for most of the cases, but felt difficult in some subjects and especially some topics like Surface Plasmon Resonance, etc. I felt subjects like AHT, and labs for ANSYS, ASPEN could've been better

A friend at NIT Rourkela gave me a detailed review of her college the last time she visited me. Here are some highlights from her descriptive experience
- NIT Rourkela has a huge, serene, and well-secured campus.
- The institute has diverse clubs that promote extracurricular activities and their performance is better than most clubs of other engineering colleges.
- Decent Internet speed is offered and the Dc++ is well maintained.
- The hostels are well-maintained and decked with all the basic amenities one could ask for.
- Students are actively involved in sports such as gymming and swimming.
- The faculties are a mixed bag. Some are underqualified and lethargic while some motivate you to become a better person.
- The institute boasts of an extensive entrepreneurship culture.
- The institute needs to work on increasing its alumni base and the level of fests it organizes given the huge income the institute generates.
- The placement scenario varies from branch to branch. It's decent for branches like CS while pathetic for others.
- Rourkela does not have any places to explore and also lacks flight connectivity.
- The city of Rourkela is one of the cleanest places so hygiene is not an issue here.
