If a student joins Ruia then he/she gonna have the best college experience, because once a Ruiaite is always a Ruiaite. Ruia is college which gives the students the opportunity to show their talent, knowledge, skills and help hem to build career and show path to success. Negative point would be, the canteen is very small in space.

BSC Computer Science is one of the good options to pursue career in Computer Science/Information Technology. There are total 6 semesters, 2 semesters per year. There's one internal test every semester. There are different subjects every year. Semester exams consists of Practical and Theory exams. The syllabus and subjects are both theory and practical oriented. Every semester the college assigns some mini projects. The final semester has one project, which is mandatory. The course covers programming languages like C, C++, Python, DBMS, Java, SQL, Android. Also, it includes web development and mobile application development practicals.

Yes, there are placements. Companies like LTI, Accenture, TCS, Infosys, Atos come to college for placements. College doesn't provide internship. During my graduation I was selected in LTI, the experience was really good. There were 4 rounds. Aptitude test, Group Discussion and Grammar test, Technical test, HR round. Average package the companies offer is 2.5LPA.

Techstorm: A technical fest of CS department. Infinity: A space fest of Physics department. Tilt Shift: A cinematography fest of BMM department. Utsav Aarohan: This is main event/fest of the college which is every December. There are multiple events in this fest. From music, dancing, painting, treasure hunt to Rock band, Dj night, prom night. Many many events are celebrated.

Since now Ruia is an autonomous College the fees are high and expensive. Most of the science courses fees is above 20000. Most of the arts courses fees is above 10000. Fee structure of reserved students is low.

I didn't get any scholarship. But if a student wants to go abroad for future studies then the college helps the student to raise funds and get scholarship. There freeship for students who fall in reserved category.

Yes, the college has a badminton court, gymkhana, carrom and chess room, mini football ground. Shooting range room, boxing court, auditorium for drama-singing-dance is also there. College gives opportunities to students to show their talent and also help them to participate in college level activities.

Yes definitely they are helpful. Ruia is known for its culture and students. Seniors and juniors connect really well. The connection is mostly built because of VPM(students cell). The college arrange many alumni talks and sessions.

The admission process is simple and easy. 1. Once the HSC results are declared, the college puts up a notice regarding the admissions and the respective schedule. 2. Students have to register themselves on University of Mumbai's website and apply for colleges. 3. Students have to fill and submit offline form in the college. 4. There are 3 merit lists. If the student's name comes in the merit list, then the student has to take admission within 2 days. 5. During admission, student needs to submit photocopies of SSC, HSC Marksheets, LC, Identify and Address Proof. Fees is to be payed through demand draft. From 2019 the process is changed, since Ruia is now an autonomous College, following are the new admission steps. 1. Once the HSC results are declared, the college puts up a notice regarding admission and the schedule. 2. Students have to apply for the college through an online portal. 3. 3 Merit lists are declared, if the student's name comes in the Merit list then he/she has to take admission within 2 days. 4. During admission, student needs to submit photocopies of SSC, HSC Marksheets, LC, Identify and Address Proof. Fees is to payed online.

The faculty are good, skilled, well trained. They help and support the students in every step. They guide students in project management, placements preparations, they solve students doubts and questions. They guide students for their future.
