Course Curriculum Overview

4

Sem 1 has basic kinetics and motion based numericals to Sem 6 which had relativity theory. This precision in elevating the course module difficulty level is a point worth mentioning. The course does prepare you for real world applications as problem solving, efficacy in theoretical understanding and then feeling it the practical way. Exams are not that tough to clear. Lectures are sufficient to impart enough content to clear exam with good marks if paid attention . Twice exam in 1 year spaced approximately 4 months or so apart is good. Timings are morning 9 to 11 am or so.

Placement Experience

3

After sem 6 , students are eligible for placement. Tech Mahindra, Infosys, TIFR internships etc offer placements . No of offers varies highly depending upon job market conditions. Highest package was 5 LPA and lowest around 3 LPA. Around 5 percent of students getting placement. My plans after BSc degree was MSc which I've already pursued.

Fees and Financial Aid

Year wise fees- 9,000 This yearly fees does increase especially post covid batches but it is less for core science subjects Bsc degree like physics, chemistry, botany etc. The yearly fees does hike more for interdisciplinary domains like biotechnology or bioanalytical sciences etc. There was relaxation is fees for other categories like SC,ST etc which was around 2000 to 3000 rupees or so.

Campus Life

4

Mathrix , was annual mathematics dept fest. Essql was Of Statistics department. PG Meghani library is available at the campus which offers high sought after reference books required for the course. It's the one stop solution. Biometric attendance , projectors, digital board facilities in classrooms. Cultural, Scientific society of Ruia is there. Journal and magazine of monthy events at Ruia is also documented by these student run social grps.

Admission

I had applied to sies, mithibai college and secured comfirm admission there. I chose Ruia as it was accessible to me and reduced travel time. Bsc admission is based on 12th percentage and exams like JEE marks are considered at times when 12th percentage is not enough to secure admission .Admission process is hassle free and happens in online mode to be secured by offline documentation and verification process. Cutoff generally is is 80 to 85 percent in 12th std for general category for BSc admission

Faculty

3

Faculty to student ratio is 1:50. Faculties are approchable but approachable nature exists on a spectrum. Not everyone is approachable. I liked faculties such as Dr. Nana Pradhan Sir, Dr Vijay Mayekar, Dr. RAJENDRA Rathi are excellent Faculties because they have core subject matter and domain expertise. Rajeshwari mam, Sneha mam were the ones who could have been better in aligning their schedules for better BSc course outcomes. They faced the issue of managing both MSc and BSc courses at the same schedule time so they got less time to be liked by the students. 2 semesters in 1 year so total 6 sems in 3 years. Internal and external component of exam is there and it is highly relevant form of content as well as holistic assessment. On an average, 20 to 30 students did have atkt exams .

Night Life

4

DP's hotel is there nearby Hostel facilities are not available. Campus timings morning 8 am to 6 pm. 5 gardens is there nearby. Charcoal eats is also there. It is safe to roam at night . Not much issues.

Course Curriculum Overview:

like i was sure that i want a course that will give me experince about AIML with subjects like 3D design + Coding + Envoirmental studeis and all. and the course from the sandip actually have all these subjects in a single course thats why i choose this course. curriculam was good it was updated on time. the course helps me to land a internship with goverment cause i learn the basics of AI from this course. the ares of improvements should be the faculty members like they are horrible sometimes they dont even make the notes for the subjects they ask students to make notes and shared with other students. even one of the faculty member shared a playlist form youtube for a specific subject and ask us to take notes from it and prepare for exam not a single leccture he takes at that time. the frequency of the exam is also not that good cause the want us to prepare for the final semster exam which is of 6 months in just 3 months with all the paper works , projects , assignments etc etc.

• As I don't have maths so I have choosen this course for medical way for the future educational content and lab work. • They prepare us very good their skills and they approach in the lab practical is so good. • One one improvement as from mine is that they doesn't have some practical equipment and machinery for the working so I would like to have that to get that practical knowledge and for that they teach us theoretical for that kinds of practical. • Average the frequency and time for exam preperation is good

“The BSc CS curriculum is fairly comprehensive and covers core subjects like programming, DBMS, OS, networking and practical labs. It stays relevant for basic IT careers, though updates are slow. Overall it gives a strong foundation but needs more modern industry-oriented topics.”

Course Curriculum Overview:

Strong academic legacy with expereinced faculties and balanced content- preparing you for future studies and entrance exams and olympiads. very much strict, i would say not needed. somehwere you may experience baised behaviour; but when you are focused on gaining knowledge then these things dont matter as its only a matter of three years. Relevance of course is there but for applying for further studies not for that much for job prospects, if you want atleast a decent salary job.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very good. The syllabus of the course of relevant and also helps in preparing different entrance exams for masters. Also course offers wide variety of subjects so students can have exposure to different opportunities in the field. There are also field study visits so students can get their real world experience and exposure. The external exams are a little bit hectic as the take it into a streak. There is no gaps between the exams so it is a little hectic. Also some proffessors should provide study materials to students so it will be helpful .

I have rarely seen companies coming to our college for placement purposes for our course but I have seen companies coming for BCOM and BCA. I don't know about my course as I am currently in my second year. The percentage of students getting placements are veryess as my friend from third year said that out of 150 students only 10 students got placed this year which is very less compared to other colleges. My plans after getting the degree is if I got a job in any of the it company I will do it for experience and side by side I am planning to pursue my education in MSC CS

I thought that zoology is most interesting to learn and its have future job opportunity. So basically zoo student are like little dr or zoologist. It provides little bit of that syllabus while learning you feel like you are dr or expert in zoology which example we experience in our day to day life. They need to add more teachers and placement opportunity. After every one and half month there is exam.
