Deaffiliated college

There is nothing negative in college. The only thing that is, is that college is going to shut down in coming years. At present the academics of the school is not good as the administration is not serious about studies.

The course curriculum is balanced for students who want to go in various fields of law. From corporate to procedure to penal. Most laws are covered by the syllabus of the university. Exams are conducted every semester both internal and external. 25% weightage is for internal examination and 75% for external examination.

Earlier our placement was very good. Big law firms and companies came to our college for placement but due to bad publicity and deaffiliation, the position of placement is not good. Amity university has taken our placement under their control and our placement is conducted along with the students of amity university.

There are not many events celebrated by our college. Our college conducts a moot court competition every year and a MUN every year. Except these hindi diwas is also celebrated by our college. Apart from these GGSIPU conduct a cultural festival every year in which all affiliated colleges take part along with our college. A sports week is also conducted by university.

Fee structure is very feasible. We have to pay ? 76,500/- for one year. Compared to other universities our fee is very less that's the best part of this college. In less fee we are getting world class infrastructure of amity university. The reason of fee being less is that our college comes under GGSIPU which is a government university so fee structure of GGSIPU is applicable to our college as well.

No scholarships are given by our college. As the fee is very less and is subsidized by Delhi government. I am not aware of any scholarships given by our college or university, if there is any. Loan facility is also not available to students. We have to pay full amount at the starting of the year.

There is a library which consists of many books related to various topics of law. Also there is a moot court hall in the college for conducting moot courts and other small functions. Apart from these there is a boys and girls common area which consists of table tennis, chess, ludo and other table games.

There is no alumni meet in the college. Only way to get connected to seniors is through social media or personal contacts. But the seniors are helpful when approached. The college maintains a record of the pass out students in case there is a need to guide their juniors or to give guest lectures or to judge moot courts.

You have to give entrance exam for 5 year ballb course which is conducted by guru gobind singh indraprasth university(GGSIPU). The exam is called common entrance test (CET). This entrance exam is for all colleges affiliated with GGSIPU. After exam a cut off list is published for all colleges and applicants can fill their preference during the counselling. There are two rounds of counselling and after that there is spot counselling which is conducted offline. In spot counselling there is no reservation procedure. Otherwise in online counselling there is a quota for students of delhi. 85% reservation is there for delhi students as this university is controlled by Delhi government.

Earlier when we took admission in the college, the faculty was well qualified and experienced but now the college is deaffiliated for new batches, so our faculty is either being transferred or they are resigning. Present faculty is not well qualified and not experienced.
