What Students Say
Likes
- Infrastructure- Institute building and hostels are very nice. Cleanliness is also there.
- Events- It organise different kind of events which help us to improve various kinds of skills, such as speaking skills, leadership skills, etc.
- Faculty- Teachers are good and they are helping in nature.
Dislikes
- Attendance- Attendance is a very big issue here. Sometimes even if you are present in class and teacher forgot to mark you present online then you have just 24 hours to ask your teacher to rectify it. If we missed it then we get a absent mark.
- Cafeterias- It's little bit on expensive side and sometimes it doesn't worth it's price.
- There is network issue inside the campus. At some places you will be getting 5G signals and after 5 steps it will vanish.
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum is very student as well as industry centric. They make changes to their curriculum according to industry trends and what recruiters are searching for. It prepare us for real-world applications. They add various skill based subjects to our course to make us industry ready. Exams difficulty level is moderately easy to moderately hard.
Placement Experience
I don't know about this much yet. But i heard that if you work on youself properly , surely you can get a very good placement. They have added various skill based subjects in our curriculum to work on our soft skills and make us industry ready. But this thing sometimes depends on you luck to. But yeah, if you work hard nobody can ever stop you.
Fees and Financial Aid
My first sem fee is somewhere around 1,86,000 and it will increase yearly. First year fee is around 3,72,000.Second year it will be around 3,90,000. Scholarship is also available for sudents based on their 12th marks.
Campus Life
I guess Amity is famous for it's campus life. Believe me it's very good. From annual fests to technical festivals, start up fair amity has everything a student aspire of. For sports, Sangathan held every year. It is a mega sport event. There are soo many clubs, committees that are run by teachers and as well as some are run by the students. They give us a chance to work on ourself in different aspects. Library is very good. And it's rich in books and journals.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are good. They are neat nd clean plus househelp comes daily. We normally get a bed, almirah, chair, table in furniture. Every student has a separate charging boards, lights and fans. For non Ac hostel we have to pay around 95,000 and for Ac hostel we have to pay arround 1,75,000. Cafeterias are okayish. Neither its good nor bad. There are around 8 cafeterias in the campus. But remeber we have to buy our own food from cafeterias on daily basis. One can register for hostel while filling online admission form or if you missed it then you have to post a query on admission microsite.
Admission
I choose this college over other colleges because of its facilities and opportunities it provide to develop yourself. I applied for lloyd and IPU and got confirmed admission in both them. But i choose amity over them because of its standards and offcourse placements. Admission process is simple. Firstly apply online and then give there qualifying exam and interview. Or you can get direct admission based on your clat score or 12th score.
Faculty
Faculty is good. They are friendly and easily approachable. Rest it depends on their individual personality too. There are internals which are mid term exams before every semester exams. We also have to submit projects, group projects, assignments, etc. Course curriculum is also relevant to the course.
Interview Experience
Yes, I gave a personal interview. Questions were simple. Firstly they always ask for your intro so prepare it well. Then they can ask you about why you choose this course and college. They can also ask you about your previous involvement in competitions and activities. Then if you are appearing it for law course then they can ask you some basic law related questions like about fundamental rights, amendments, fundamental duties or preamble. So prepare well but don't take tension because it's not too hard. Just give it with full confidence.
Other Applied Colleges
Lloyd Law College | Bachelor of Arts + Bachelor of Laws [B.A.L.L.B.]
