Course Curriculum Overview
I would read the course curriculum as quite relevant and fairly comprehensive. The curriculum covers course subject in a structured manner which influence my decision to choose their course. It provides a strong theoretical foundation along with basic practical exposure. Helping students understand real-world applications and prepare for higher studies or entry level jobs. The syllabus is mostly updated through adding more industry oriented topics. Case studies and hands on project would further improve learning outcomes. Exams are conducted regularly through inter internal assessment and semester and exams. The difficulty level is moderate and students who prepare consistently can perform well. Overall the curriculum is effective but has score for improvement and practical and skill based learning.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total core fee for my program is approximately ?10,000 per year, the tuition fees around ? 8000 annually while the remaining amount includes registration fee, examination, fee development fees and lab charges, one time, admission registration fee of about ?2000 is charged in the first year. The fee structure remains almost the same every year and does not increase significantly during the course duration, the total fee for the complete course comes to approximately ?30,000 for reserved categories such as SCST. The fees are lower as per government norms and they are eligible for fee reimbursement based and need based scholarship provided by the state government are available for eligible students, which help reduce the financial burden.
Campus Life
My overall experience with campus life has been positive and engaging the college organise, annual, cultural and technical events that usually take place during academic year, providing students weight opportunities to showcase their talent and interact socially. The library is well occupied with a good collection of textbook, reference book and journals, both physical and digital making it accessible for academic needs. Classrooms are adequately maintained with basic technological facilities such as projectors and Smart boards. The campus also encourages sports and extra curricular activities offering facilities for indoor and outdoor games. Various student run, clubs and societies actively function on campus. Helping students, develop leadership, skills, teamwork, and sense of community.
Admission
I choose this college after comparing it with other colleges, I applied to on parameter such as core structure, faculty, quality fees, location, and overall reputation. While I applied to a few other institutions. This college offered a better balance of academic quality and affordability along with a structure curriculum aligned with my career goals. In some other colleges, I could not secure admission mainly due to higher cut-off unlimited seat availability admission process of my college was smooth and transparent. It involve meeting the eligibility criteria submitting the application form and selection based on merit and accepted entrance examination as per the course requirements. Overall, the admission experience was well organised and student friendly which further reinforced my decision to join their college.
Faculty
The faculty members in my college are generally knowledgeable and supportive. Most professors are well qualified and explain concepts clearly especially in core subjects. The faculty student is decent student can approach teachers for doubts during or after classes. The course structure is well planned with balance of theory and practical learning exams are conducted in a semester system with internal assessment assignments and end semester exams. The marking scheme is fair and transparent and student who attend classes regularly can score well. Overall, the curriculum is irrelevant and help build a strong academic foundation 2. Some subjects could be updated with more practical exposure.
Night Life
The night life in an around a college campus is calm and student friendly rather than very happening more students usually unwind by spending times in hostels, common rooms, cafeteria or nearby food stalls after classes. The campus has fixed entry and exit timings and hostel in time is generally followed for safety reasons facilities like the gym library and cafeteria remain open till the evening or late hours depending on the day outside the campus. There are few popular cafes and hangout spots that students visit in groups.. surrounding is generally safe at night, but students prefer returning before later. Overall, the nightlife is decent and focus more on relaxation and social bonding
