Review of DCB College, Jorhat,Assam

Some curriculum like lab technician,vast study in the course, better higher studies opportunities, lead to some of the factors influencing me to choose this course. Yes it has meet my expectations in choosing the course and it had prepared me for real life experience like measuring blood sugar levels etcc etc and there are more to learn. Some areas need improvements like lab supplies and chemical supplies. The timing of exam is well maintained providing us much time between. The difficulty level also goes from hard to minimum.

The year wise depends on reservation criteria like having an income certificate allows free waiver admission where the cost is free and students who don't have the certificate they need to pay a total of 3thousand. The registration fees also cost 100-200 rs As i belong from SC reservation therefore there are advantages in merit list My batchmates also pays fees more than me Students can apply for scholarships like NSP scholarships.

The annual sports week happens every year consisting several sports events and activities. Various of other activities like functions happen throughout the year in different days. Also events like farewell and freshers happen. Sports week happen every year consisting several activities like badminton, cricket, volleyball,kabadi etc Events like dance,song,drama competition etc There are various charity, cultural,sports club etc.

I applied for various colleges like majuli college,bahona college,jb college but i opt for this College because of it's distance maintenance and some other opportunities like admission facilities and better faculty members. Yes i also got rejection from jb college because of my merit and yes i too feel that that college was also quite good and it had also met my criteria like distance but as i got rejected from that college i opted for this College. The admission for my college includes first making a profile in samarth providing the higher secondary marksheet and class 10 th certificate, income certificate, adhar card,pan Card,caste certificate ,email account and most importantly remember the password that will be required throughout the procedure.

The faculty to students ratio is 60:100 and the relationship between students and the faculty members is good where all the teachers like maximum of them are quite friendly helping us with all the problems we face be it in academics or in other fields. I like my own zoology department because every teacher there are very polite and helpful towards us.Other faculty like chemistry department and Botany department are also quite good. Some arts faculty like geography dept English department don't offer such helps as compared to other departments. Exams are conducted in a manner - Two sessional exams consisting 25 marks each. One end semester exam -45 marks Rest -practical exams -15 marks Total marks: 60. The difficulty level varies like sessional exams are conducted by the college itself so teaches prepare us accordingly like giving us questions that might come for boards. The difficulty level is hard to minimum like if we appear for sessional exams

I am not a hosteller so i can't explain about the night activities but during day the environment is quiet safe and peaceful . there's a gym in our college and also cafeteria where we can do our daily works like print outs
