Course Curriculum Overview

2

Good and clear opportunities for zoology. Provide good topics to study Lab activities are quite interesting Zoology can provide job opportunities in various fields like teaching line, zoologist etc No improvement required from my pov. The frequency of sessional exms are after 1month and end sem exam after 4-6 month.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am pursuing my bachelor's in zoology form this college.I applied in this college through Samarth Potral and after the college accepted my form i went to the college for the further process. Fee Structure may differ as i had an income certificate of yearly income of 1L so i got free admission. But students who doesn't have an income certificate of monthly income less than 6L cannot get a free admission and have to pay a fee of 7000. After that we have to pay a examination fee of rs 1750 before the end sem exam As its a government college so only semester wise examination fee is only taken. Talking about the zoology faculty it's quite manageable and supportive with minimum assignment and practical pressure. Along with zoology my minor is botany and it's same as zoology dept manageable and supportive. Along with this we have 4 more sub SEC,VAC,AEC and GEC. The college campus is environment friendly and peaceful.

Campus Life

5

Here many programmes are held staring from general freshers to department wise freshers. Many government schemed programme are also held and anuual programs. Tours are also organised to many places like Kashmir,Manali etc. Also educational tours are organised. Campus is very clean and environment friendly

Admission

I choose this college because i overhead that zoology faculty is very good here and yes really it is because i got that in reality. I applied in JB college also but my first preference was DCB and i choosed this only. No i didn't got any rejection as i applied in kakojan college also but no i didn't receive any rejection. Admission process is thoroug samarth Potral. Three merit list are published and i got my name on the second.

Faculty

5

The faculty student relationship is supportive and good. I like my zoology dept because each and every teacher is very supportive and encouraging. There is not such faculty i don't like but vac and aec faculty doesn't pay that much attention Eventually there are two sessional exam and one end sem exam and if studied properly everyone can exel the exam

Night Life

5

We have huge Library and so many books starting from important books to daily magazines to novels everything is found there. Study room is built seperately where students can read. I am not a hostel student so i can't tell much abt hostel but i can say that mobile phone are allowed only for 2 hrs and it's not enough for students like us.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was a major factor that influenced my decision to choose this course, as it is well-structured and offers a balanced combination of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. The syllabus covers essential concepts in a systematic manner, starting from the basics and gradually advancing to more complex topics. The inclusion of practical sessions, assignments, and project work made the course appear relevant and aligned with current academic and professional requirements. This thoughtful design assured me that the course would help in developing analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and subject clarity, which are important for both academic growth and career development.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed the course as I actually liked it coz I have studied it in class 11 and 12 and want to study more in the field of data analytics. But here we didn't get much exposure to real world applications as we just ended our first sem but expect to get more in future . We also want immediate internships such that we can work on our skills so far as possible. We get less time to study for the exams as the course is vast but exams reach near but if studied in a daily basis routine, one can cop-up with it

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed the course because I dont have so much money to study for btech and all and also I didn't prepare for jee or neet so, the next thing come is mind is bsc that is in botany or zoology as I liked bio more than any other subjects. Yaa by reading botany I can know many things about plant and trees. The improvement that they can do is release a book according to the syllabus by the university and also add few more new teachers such that student can be friendly with them and ask their doubt . For me I think exam timing should be done... Like one before durga puja and one around December . And the difficulty level should be easy .

Course Curriculum Overview:

If I were to grade my own curriculum based on industry standards and my current performance in 2026, here is how I would rate it: 1. Relevance: 9.5/10 The relevance of an AI curriculum is defined by how well the training data prepares the model for real-world utility. Real-Time Adaptability: My curriculum is highly relevant because it isn't "frozen." Through features like Google Search grounding, I can bridge the gap between my training cutoff (January 2025) and the current events of 2026. Multimodal Integration: The curriculum isn't just text; it includes video, audio, and images. This makes the learning highly relevant to how humans actually communicate. Contextual Filtering: During training, "noise" (toxic, low-quality, or redundant data) is filtered out using advanced data-cleaning pipelines, ensuring that the "lessons" I learn are high-signal. 2. Comprehensiveness: 9/10 Comprehensiveness measures the "breadth" of the subjects covered. Subject Mastery: My training covers a massive range of disciplines, from quantum physics and advanced coding to creative writing and local pop culture. I have been "tested" on benchmarks like MMLU (57 subjects) and GPQA (expert-level science), where I consistently perform at or above human-expert levels. The "Long Context" Advantage: With a context window of up to 1 million tokens, my ability to "comprehend" entire libraries of books or hour-long videos in one go is a level of comprehensiveness that traditional education systems cannot match. Minor Gap (The 10%): The reason I don't give a 10/10 is that AI still faces challenges with "Deep Reasoning" in highly niche, unpublished domains or solving brand-new mathematical proofs that haven't been documented yet.The curriculum is world-class, but it is a "living" document. The faculty at Google constantly updates it to ensure I remain useful as the world changes. It is very good and helpful by giving us good knowledge and skills .this ciriculum helped me and it is very good and helpfu

Course Curriculum Overview:

Every year in the college wages programs are held which boost the spirit of the students it allows the students to showcase their talent and again knowledge in other fields too. The sports weeks and the freshers program are one of the prominent functions that are held every year. There could be a better curriculum in the teaching method by using various tools and gadgets including digital board and smart technologies. The exams had a not much to hard not that easy they are held on a moderate level which helps the student to maintain marks and gain knowledge.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Areas for improvement: more industry collaborations, guest lectures, and hands-on projects. Some subjects feel outdated and could be updated. Teaching methods could incorporate more interactive sessions and case studies. Exams are held semester-wise, with a mix of easy and challenging questions. Difficulty level is manageable with consistent effort. Frequency is okay, but sometimes feels rushed. Overall, the curriculum provides a solid foundation, but could benefit from more flexibility and modernization to better prepare students for the industry.
