Course Curriculum Overview
I was keen to study economics in Depth, and for that reason, I chose BA Economics Honours. The curriculum helps you address real-life economic problems and fosters a better understanding of the country's economic conditions.
Internships Opportunities
When I was in college, there were no internship opportunities as such were offered, so I'm not very aware of the upcoming opportunities. But most of the internships, if provided, will be in a Business Development role only.
Placement Experience
The placements are not that good, most of the companies are not well-known and generally offer sales and business development roles to students who are not even related to that background, and the packages are also very low.
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearly fees for the course are approximately Rs 1,09,800, and it remains the same for all the students under the management quota. This amount includes tuition fees and other mandatory charges such as registration fees, development fees etc.
Campus Life
The college life at MAIMS is very good. There are many opportunities for an individual to learn, grow, and enhance their skills. It really has a good infrastructure and also organizes an annual fest for all the students.
Admission
I applied to various colleges of Delhi University, but I chose this one because it offers a better understanding of the curriculum and new and updated methodology, and upcoming trends in the economy, and also the admission process is quite easy, followed by an entrance exam.
Faculty
The faculty-to-student ratio is quite balanced, allowing professors to give individual attention during lectures and consultations. Most faculties are approachable, especially during working hours or after classes.
Night Life
The most favourite spot of all the students at MAIMS was Green Belt, where you can chill with your friends, hang out, and spend time after college hours. You can eat out there and also play with your friends.
