An Honest look at PSG COLLEGE OF TECHNOLOGY what to expect

The curriculum of my course is really very good from 1st years they include mathmatics and computer language c, c++, python and human science and further years DSA, machine learning and the course is mainly high mathematics and computer science, the mathmatics they designed is very tough it gives real world applications and it will help to work with ai. Mathmatics is highly needed and there is no extra time to prepare for exams so every student work from day 1 and it gives us to gain more knowledge on every concept As per my suggestion they have give time to students to improve their thinking skills every student can't think in such a time one student need lot of time so they have improve their thinking skills

It provides two 6months internships it gives hands on experience some of the companies are Tcs, microsoft, amazon, software Engineer, research scientist,software developer, roles in quality control. projects are developing software applications, working on algorithms, assistsing in developing new technologies Outcome is practical experience, students develop skills in coding, problem solving, and their respective domains. Hands on experience Stipend is 30k to 70k

There are 2 opportunities after completing this course 1. Placement. 2. Higher studies For placement your have to maintain cgpa more than 8.5 and the internships you do in 7th and 10th semester will be helpful to you very much the advantage of internship is very very useful every student must do their internship in 7th and 10th semester from this course based on your knowledge and skills you will be palced in good company so from day1 you have to work and keep working consistency matters For coming to higher studies after completing 5years integrated msc you have a good opportunity to do phd in good university in abroad for my course For placement to become a good data analyst For higher studies data scientist it is an good opportunity to become a data scientist this course is very helpful to become a data scientist

Iam currently pursuing 1st year 2025 now fee per year nearly 2LPA for 5years 10LPA. You have to yearly fee in 2terms for every odd semester 132000 and for even semester 67000. Tution fee - 125000 Development fee - 30000 Special fee (for lab, admission, registration,other) - 25000 Examination fee 12000 Anna university academics - 2000 Caution- 5000 Iam from Andhra so this is for other than Tamil Nadu people so for tamil nadu people fee will be varies 5k- 7k, based on reservations for outside tamil nadu people no reservations

There will be only one cultural event that will be held in Oct event name is axios And no other cultures For technical events will be held ones in every 3 moths and the amount will be sponsered by good company The library of our college is very helpful for every student it contains lots of book it contains every type book that need a student the classroom and equipment need for a class is good and an overview of sports and extracurricular activities offered on campus is less compared to other colleges and the clubs and social groups and verticals are very helpful for a student. Students will learn leadership qualities and speaking skills there are nearly more than 30 clubs in our college Infrastructure have to improve other than that everything is good

Hostel is average iam from Andhra I didn't like food here they are charging 1lakh per year for food,room rent and all other But the room is average they will provide one bed and cupboard for one student and common bathroom there are double sharing Triple sharing Four sharing As per my opinion they are charging more amount and they improve qualities Process of getting hostel at entrance of hostel you have fill the form and pay amount But the view from top floor is very good very night fresh air and play ground is really good there is play ground for every sport but equipment is not provided by them. So if u want choose hostel food is average I strongly recommend to take top flour of any block there 7 blocks

I had applied psg,cit,thapar I got confirmed from these three but the main reason I choose psg is course curriculum and the internship it will help you to gain good knowledge and place in good company so comparing other colleges psg is better The admission process of my course there is 4 courses of 5years integrated msc (ds,cs,ss,tcs ) To join in these there are 3rounds 1.12th percentage 2.entrance exam. 3.interview Your 12th score is must be more than 85 The entrance exam is based on 11th and 12th mathmatics And the interview has some technical questions and mathmatics Iam not feared about 1st and 2nd round because my 12th score is very good and Iam well in mathmatics but the 3rd interview round was very good experience for me I had a good chance to prove my skills I had little fear after completing I got 3rd position in the entrance exam Finally it was a great experience for me

The faculty to student ratio is for every 40 students one faculty and the relationship between us is very good and every faculty has their responsibility they will take care with that and I like ASK sir his motivation gives strength to students and no faculty will target a student and make him worry. and for every semester there is two mid exams you have work from day 1 to get good score in mid exams and coming for semester exams you have to thoroughly with all the concepts and it is very relevant to course and applications based concepts and mostly 2-3 percent of students will only fail the reason of fail is careless and level of exam is moderate to difficult

Hostel timings is 9:30 pm before 9:30 every student inside the room no student is allowed to outside after 9:30 Gym is not very spacious and it has limited tools There are 2gyms in campus each gym intake is 25 persons only. Cafeteria is also not spacious but you will get everything there and the public area is untill 5am -9:30 Near our college there good location to visit in holidays Ooty Palani Isha foundation And our college is located center of coimbatore Inside the city. national highway infront of our college
