College Review

Very good college in terms education and has a very big area for recreational and enjoyment purpose.Good environment with a lot of greenery and other Post graduation departments under kerala university.

Course curriculum for the 2015 admission batch was 2013 scheme kerala university syllabus. It was a bit less oriented compared to the Kerala Technical University Syllabus but they have introduced a 2018 schene syllabus which is far better than Kerala Technical University Syllabus.

Very good placement opportunites. I got placed at Tata consultancy service along with many others. Many oppurtunity for placements were created by wipro,Mitsogo,Speridian and Knowledge Lens.We have a very good Placement cell.

Many events are celebrated in our college every odd and even semesters. We have an annual college fest called ACE and tech fest called RENVENZA. We have football ,cricket and vollyball tournament conducted once every year. We also have a charity event called snigdha where we bring kids from any orphanage and make their 1 day bright.

Many scholarships are available provided by the kerala government where the SC/ST category are provided free education. Free education is also provided to meritous students from other backward castes.Scholarship based on merit is also availabale which gives 7000 to 25000 indian rupees to students.

We have a total of 3 technical labs and 4 electronics lab and electrical labs and 3 mechanical labs.

Alumni network is very active. They have contributed to the rennovation works of our labs and other classrooms in the current academic year.They have conducted a union gathering too. This alumni batch was the first batch at the college.

Wrote Kerala Engineering Entrance Exam (KEAM). Secured 11800 rank. Gave option as University college of engineering kariavattom which is a semi governmental college directly under University of Kerala. Paid 25000 as advance for the first year before going to take admission. Paid 10000 during admission and secured seats. Total fees for 1 year in merit quota is 35000. Total fees for 1 year in management quota is 65000. Total fees for 1 year in NRI quota is 100000.

We have 3 different department :Computer Science ,Information Technology and Electronics and communication. Each department have a seperate faculty department and we have a common faculty for the first year. We have one of the best teachers with many years of experience.
