Course Curriculum Overview

4

I fiund the Bcom( Hons) curriculum to be very comprehensive and relevant. Beacuse it covers the subject like accounting , management, business maths , economics and business law exams are semester wise and moderate sometimes bit difficult too

Internships Opportunities

4

The college offers the internships throght the placement cell and the companies like Deloitte, EY , KPMG and PwC , students are require to solve the real life challenge, helping them to boost theri thinking and their insights help the companies alot.

Placement Experience

2

The placements from the final year with the firms like Deloitte, EY etc , offering roles in finance audit and consulting the average package is 5 to 6 lakhs and the highest package is 10 to 12 lakhs 10 to 20% get's the placement

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee of my course is quite affordable as comapred to many universities for bcom hons , I pay around 16500 for each year , although there was a small registration fee but not high , there are hidden charges like lab and development but we have to pay examination fee separately, the fee is similar for all the categories , except PWBD. The university also provides scholarships such as merit cum need for student who require financial support , I find the course value for money and pocket freindly no body can easily get this course at just 16500

Campus Life

4

Campus life is lively with small events of different different socities , and the annual fest of Ramjas Mosaic makes the vibe set in the month of February and march , the library has ampte books and journals and ACs too the classrooms have projectors and there is a gym too and sports facilities are quite good

Admission

I chose Delhi university over other universities beacuse it has a strong reputation, affordable fee, real life exposure, I got delhi university through CUET, this time cutoffs very high , the peer group and exposure I get is unmatched

Faculty

4

The faculty to student ratio approx. 1:10 The relations between students and teachers is good but sometimes some teacher spoil it by being biased towards a student and not following a proper curriculum for the attendance and mark them as per their choice , I like sem 3 teachers , I got very good teachers , because they are very good in teaching as well as behavior, we have assignments for internals and semester exam at the end

Night Life

5

Night life of campus is amazing with decent cafes and markets like hudson lane and kamla nagar market. The gyms cafeterias and library closes in the late nights, the area is good , perfect t unwind with friends

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is pretty expanded than before and the syllabus is very long and tough and sometimes it's difficult to complete in one semester and practical part of my course is also less and i think they should more practical and less theory exams in my course and sometimes the the syllabus of my course is very long in some semester so we face difficulty to complete the syllabus and didn't able to focus on practical par and there is very less practical part in my course and more theory so i think they have to focus more on practicals part and less theory and computer Lab in my college is also very less and some computer is not working and the students in class is many and the teacher is one so sometimes it's difficult to understand in computer with many students and i think they should put projector in class for better understanding and the theory exam in my course is also very lengthy and they give less time so it's difficult to complete on time and the marking scheme is also not appropriate

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was a little interested in money management since childhood, that's why I chose B.Com because it teaches about money management. If we talk about the syllabus and how much it connects with the real world, then it is very little. We are taught the same old syllabus which has been changed a long time ago. Mainly in the accounts subject, first of all one should see what is going on in the real world and what is there in the syllabus. The same syllabus is repeated again and again while the world is changing very fast. The exams are improving but the syllabus needs improvement. The exam is going well

Students often get placement before their 3rd year or last semester is completed. Highest placement this year (2025) was around 32 lakhs p.a. but only a few get that kind of a placement. Average placement stays 4 lakhs p.a. in campus placements. Most students go through a good network on their own. My plan is to get a campus placement or a government job
