Remarks

My college was very good. Since it is my alma matter, I cannot say less about it. We got good opportunities to grab good jobs and the brand name was also very strong. We could use that to our benefit whenever required

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum was relevant to what was being taught to us . We included all subjects from mechanical, industrial and controls engineering. Whatever was required for our course.Exam structure was normal like semester exams in the end and mid semesters.

Placement Experience

We had to search for internships on our own. But placements were facilitated by the college itself. There were placement committees which called companies and made them interview our college students.

College Events

There were many festivals celebrated in our college. Some intercollege activities and some intracollege activities .They ranged from technical festivals to cultural festivals. Hindu festivals were also celebrated

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible as it was a government college. Since government colleges are funded by the government so they do not charge a high fee. It has been regular practice and therefore followed in all colleges in inida

Fees and Financial Aid

There was no loan facility available as the fees was very low. Generally that is the case in any government college. we had a system of yearly scholarships for people who got good grades in their normal exams.

Campus Life

There were many extracurricular activities in forms of all types of sports fields adn parks and all. There were a lot of labs as is required in an engineering college. They could be used for all type of activities

Hostel Facilities

Hostel was okay okay in infrastructure. Being a government college, frequent replacements of furnitures etc was not possible. Also they did not charge students a lot for cleaning and all, so they could not afford a lot of cleaning staff.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna

I am not very much involved in alumni network , but I have heard that my college has a strong alumni network. While we were in college, we took help from a lot of seniors and they were always ready to help. So the same would continue in alumni networks also

Admission

There is an exam called CEE (Common entrance exam ) held for delhi students. This exam can be taken up all delhi residents or people who have completed their 12th standard in Delhi. I scored a rank of 953 in that exam

Faculty

Faculty was from various walks of life. But it was more conventional type only. Graduated long back with a lot of experience from teaching in other colleges. But they lacked some kind of industrial experience.

Placement Experience:

The placement was not too good it was bad the main reason was like it have not in better place if student want to grab an offer he do offcampus apply so they get job .The companies visted our collage was tcs ,infosys , wipro and sometime Amazon. The highest pacakge was offers in 2020 for almost like 30LPA after that non of them get that much placement .In simple wprd you are the reason of your too get placed in companies . In our collage not fang companies offerd placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good especially during recession. You're eligible for placements after 3rd year. After 2nd Year you're eligible for Internships. All Big Companies like Google Microsoft Apple Goldmansachs Mckinsey etc. Highest package offered till now in 2025 is 85LPA (Atlassian) Average of CSE is 17 -18 lpa . almost 53% people get placed in 2025 (recession time). See The degree OF DTU has its value. So it gives you an edge while you go for off campus.

Placement Experience:

The placement rate here is around 70-75% on an avg in all branches and sometimes even higher. After 1st year only , multiple opportunities starts coming . After 1st year and before 2nd year , basically in summer vacation we have to do a compulsory internship (college also provides) and we are provided a credit for that . Then multiple opportunities like GOOGLE STEP ,amacon internship , etc come.

Placement Experience:

From 6 semester all students are eligible for campus placements there are almost more than 30+ companies come to make offers and don't recall the names but almost 34 lakh per annum is the highest package they offer and some lucky students also get 80 lakh per annum package almost 80 percent students get placed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The corses are well designed And related to your curiculum evey course are relevent for student the course they provied in first sem are Math,computational thinking,Intoduction to south asia,ENG,Phy. most of collages have mechanical in their first sem where they have to do weilding ,crafting etc which have no use in course of CS.

I applied for Dtu also and I was getting electrical engineering there and also in NSUT.But considering the distance I choose Nsut over Dtu as I live in Uttam nagar. The Hidden Truth of NSUT

The reason why I chose this college is a bit of personal reason. My two years of hard work didn't pay off well and I didn't want to go to a pvt college, I had made up my mind for that. I was also getting the same branch ICE in BITS too , but due to the reason that it is far away from my home was a bit challenging for me. Also I was getting ECE in Thapar but it was rejected it as the fee is really high. For NSUT, you need to give the JEE mains exam, and after that fill up the JAC counselling. For BITS we have BITSAT exam in which there are two attempts and the best of two counts. Similarly it has its own counselling. For Thapar , you can get admission on the basis of BOARDS score and JEE Mains score as well. The admission process is not that difficult , everything is online , from the fee payment to choice filling. But once the seat is alloted in a particular branch, you need to appear physically the the desired college, in which all the documents will be examined. If you fail to do so or if there is any disperency in the documents , seat will be cancelled immediately. So fill all the required details carefully....Read More
