Course Curriculum Overview
The Course curriculum had all the relevant subjects. Starting from the early semesters only the were made to focus on core subjects. However the open electives were tricky and not upto our domain or relevant
Placement Experience
There were many placement opportunity starting from the august and even though the companies were considerably less int he 8th sem, there were still class till after the graduation. though it was not as good as i had heard before joining the organisation
Fees and Financial Aid
The College fee would be around 79,500 on even semeters and 82,500 on odd semesters inclusive of all the other charges like lab fees and all.The hostel fee was around 8500 and the mess fee woukd be around 25000 per semester. The caution money for mess is 10,000 which is returned at the end of the programme. The fee structure is different on the basis of family incomes and their are three salbs for less then 1 lakh, for 1lakh to 5 lakh and the rest is above 5 lakh
Campus Life
The campus life was good, there were many clubs and societies to join. Related with music, tech, dance, arts, photography and what not. It was easy to connect with people from your states.The campus facilities were also good
Hostel Facilities
The new girls hotel was allocated to me in third year, it was decent comapred to the old girls or boys hostel, but no ac, coolers were also not allowed and that was a real inconviniece. The meals quality was okay
Admission
I applied to this college because of the reputation. As this is a government college the placement support was good and the fee was comparably low. The peers were good as we cleared a competitive exam
Faculty
There used to be around 120 students in my class. The faculties were approachable but there used to be many joiners each semester. There used to be two exams per semester for the subject. The half terms were of weightage of 30 marks for the duration 2 hours and the end terms were of weightage of 50 marks for the duration of 3 hours apart from which we had quizes
Night Life
The in time was girls was around 10pm throughout the year. the classes used to be around 8:30 - 12:30 after the lunch hour we had labs. after being free from 5:30 onwards, we used to grab a snack from cafetaria or nescafe engage in club activities or study at the campus library
