SVNIT -The best for Transportation engineering

Transportation Engineering is a vast topic and mainly related to the upcoming growth of the country. That's why the transport system is solely responsible for the betterment of the society as well as country. Regarding highways , expressways and bridges and as well as airports. All these required Transportation engineers. Teaching methods are superb. Exam frequencies are also good.

Admission through gate requires valid GATE SCORE to get the admission in the SVNIT. Scholarship provisions are there for the GATE fellowships, which is decided by the ministry of education, which is 12400 per month for now. Total fees for the course is 1.4Lakhs. But including hostel charges and all the extra miscellaneous charges together, it can go upto 2.5lakhs. All the fees can be covered by the stipend which is available for the research purpose.

There are annual fests as well as various programs , seminars held for the betterment of the students. Orientation programs Freshers Dandiya nights And so many fests are being held here in SVNIT campus. Sports grounds are well equipped and various sports are being carried out here in the campus as well as inter and intra both.

Hostel facilities are good enough. 44800 is the fees for the hostel and the accommodation is perfect for the students to reside and study for the various exams , which is availabe in the library section. Meal quality is good and upto the mark. Affordability is good .

I chose SVNIT just because this is one of the best college for transportation engineering. Surat is the best city for seeing the development which is being carried out and a great infrastructure is also available. Admission process is mainly based on CCMT , JOSSHA, ISR , etc Depending on the exams which u have given, u can get selected for this college. My first choice is SVNIT, so there's no need or talk about the rejection.

Faculty student ratio is good which is 1:6. All the faculties of transportation department are very good, If including names Then Srinivas sir Amit sir Joshi sir Rakesh sir..... Everyone is too good. If we talk about exams, then there are internals as well as externals, In internal exams , sometimes there is open book test happening. Class tests are also compulsory for the academic growth . Basics to advanced Software knowledge are also provided for the betterment of the career of each and every student. Course curriculum is solely focused in the only perspective of the jobs and researched based. No bookish knowledge will be provided. Everything is based on practical sessions and tutorials and as well as projects and field work.

Campus gates get closed at 11 in the night for the students who resides in hostels. We can access the campus for whole 24×7×365. There are night mess facilities in hostels. Gyms are well equipped with materials. Dumas beach is nearby to visit.
