Likes

Faculty is good and well behaved. Not much egoistic teachers . College has a full wifi campus also.
Their is a common canteen for all .and a big sport ground and basketball court. In short a good atmosphere for outdoor games.
Indoor games are also available like chess, table tennis,yoga .and e gaming tournament also happens often.

Dislikes

Not very good college life . Only 1 or 2 basic events occur.
Sports faculty is good but not maintained properly.
Canteen Food is also average not so many things available.and a poor wifi network.

Not so many good thing which attracts you in this college, lot percentile needed to take admission .some internship opportunities are available.some companies like ibm , Cisco,tcs also come for placement. But offers an average placement.

some avarage companies like tcs cisco,tata consultancy comes and offers average placement of 6 lakhs.Internship opportunities are also available in same companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

I will pay 128650 rupees for one year fees . Not so much discount for other categories and all branch.scholarship are available for some state students according to their categories.i am a obc category student of up so I don't get government scholarship but some private scholarship I can apply and get one of them . reliance scholarship is good to apply for all kind of students

Campus Life

In the start of the session freshers party occurs named neognessis .after that college fest occurs name jnangani happens.so many events happen in jnangani. Almost all books of syllabus are available in the library . Student can take book from there and return after he completes his semester or read the books.also students runs clubs are also available to join.

Admission

I applied in aktu college and I got them also . But I choose this college because this is a government college and also less fees than some of private college like abes and other private universities of Noida and Delhi Ncr

Faculty

Faculty student ratio is good , teachers are in enough numbers.cse teachers are good while of some electrical and electronics branches teachers are little bit strict but also well knowledge gained . There are 3 exams happen in college. First sessional second sessionomal and in the end semester occurs. Before semester practicals happens.

Night Life

Open gym is available with the mess not so many things available but few are.a canteen is also available. Hostel timings are 6am to 9pm. If you are late guard will stop you and take you in the hostel after asking you some question.locality is safe and it's situated in a tourist place like haridwar so you can travel allot.

GEU is an adventure!

Placement Experience:

Room for placements can't be better than GEU. As our department which isn't much in demand and still over 80% of placements rate itself is a story worth telling. I am so glad that it is happening and this is the reason I feel so good studying here as I can't do more as placements care are taken by the university very well.

GEU is super amazing!

Placement Experience:

It's in the final year as once the final year begins, students are asked to pull their socks up and go limitless as nearly 100 or rather much more are there at the campus and interest in CSE students is the highest. Also, there's a large section of IT students who are placed from GEU every year and that too without much of an effort.

Versatile college with good RoI

Placement Experience:

One of the best thing I saw here is placement. If a student is willing to do job then this college is appropriate place from him or her.. Students are placed in IT , SALES , FINANCE, EDTECH , TRANSPORT, DRUGS , etc Students are eligible for jobs and placed from the beginning of pre final semester and can apply in each and every company as per required skills. Not big tech Faang companies visit the campus but a decent level IT companies and limited visit the campus. And conduct their interviews and exams process. Although interview rounds are tough and offcourse nail biting competition among the students. The highest package this year till now 34 LPA by an American MNC . Average package is 550000. Approximately 90 percent students got placed in different domains and fields. My plans are so clear. I will take the job first in IT companies and get some experience on ground level and will grow further.

GEU is a world class place to study!

Placement Experience:

Pringle, The Sleep Co, Lenskart, Luscious, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, Google, Facebook and every tech company which potentially can come have come to our college for placements. On and average placements worth 6-40 LPA are common. Since some students miss out so on a whole the placements average stands a little below 10 LPA.

One don't have to go round and round as placements are done well within the time as most students here are placed by 7th semester. Those who left behind can try their luck on day zero as we have mass companies coming for a 3 day event and hire as many as they can.

Doon University - A descent college for btech course for residents of dehradun

Placement Experience:

The placements of this particular college are not good as much as i have heard about the placements of this university's before batches. They are still fighting and trying to get better placements for the senior batches which I wish they get it done, or i dont know what will happen in my time. The 7th or 8th semester is the one from which the students become eligible for campus placements. The name of the companies which offered were TCS, Infosys, HCL, Amazon, ICICI Bank etc. the average package of the college is about 4-5 LPA. Onlu 50-60% of the students or lesser are getting placements in the college. My plans are to do Mtech afterwards i complete my btech course in this college.

Life at Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya (GKV, Haridwar)

I choose this college because it is old esteemed deemed to be university. It is one of the oldest university in India with much good prestige in lists of college. It is internationally recognized good institution as stated by the government of India. It is NAAC accredated and also UGC funded university. It is purely boys college, no girls are allowed admission in this college. This institution is managed by the Arya Samaj with collaboration with the state government. It comes under GFTI. I got rejection from Delhi Technological University (DTU), Delhi. My JEE Mains rank was not as much as it was required to take admission into Delhi Technological University. I was not able to score better in my JEE Mains examination, so my JEE Mains rank was not sufficient to get a seat in this college.
