Likes
- The enviourment of the college is enviourment friendly and includes many trees that provides fresh air.
- Every branch have their seprate department including well maintained classrooms along with smart boards.
- Every class have 60 students which is the perfect class size including 45 boys and 15 girls including state quota.
Dislikes
- The building of the entire college is old and not maintained according to the present campuses.
- Hostel rooms are too much small and do not contain attached bathrooms.
- Teachers are not good in explaining the topics which are selected at the phd level.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this coarse because it include both the core and code placements. Overall experience of the branch and the college is good but according to me some teachers are less experienced . the semester is of about 4 months which includes classes and the exams.
Internships Opportunities
Companies such as infosys , wipro and microsoft provides the internship opportunities. Some projects will be provided by the companies during the internship period. Internship time is of about one month.
Placement Experience
After the sixth semester sstudents while be elligible for campus placements. Some big unicorns such as microsoft, infosys, wipro, amazon ,facebook come in the placements. Highest package of nit kurukshetra is 1.25 cr. and average package is rupees 8 lpa. percentage of the students who got placed is 80 percent.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for the whole year including all the other charges is rupees 2.5-2.7 lakh for the students whose income certificate is greater than 8 lakh per year . Tution fees for the whole year is rupees 1.5 lakh.Scholarship will not be providedd to the students whose income is greator than rupees 5 lakh per year.Fees will not increase during the entire course.
Campus Life
The college infrastructure is very poor . But overall college life is going well due too some clubs involvement. Books are easily available in the library of all types. The facilities and technologies are good and new equipments. Sports facilities are provided by the campus and many tournament exists during the whole year.
Hostel Facilities
The room includes a fan, light, a table ,a bed, a chair.,a almirah. Meal quality is very good but chapati is not good. Menu is designed acording to the student choices. There is no other pg nearby the campus.
Admission
I choose this college because it is the best college according to my jee mains rank and it also includes my home state quota. The college is good but its building is old. ITs nirf ranking is decreasing day by day that why this is not a good choice according to me.
Faculty
The faculty to students ratio is good every subject has its different teachers. Course structure of btech is of four years includes eight semesters and contains two mid sem exams and 1 end sem exam. The level of the exam is moderate and good marking scheme.
Night Life
The campus includes its own gym and there are many private gym around the campus. Hostel closing time in night 8:30 pm. The are some historical places such as bhrama sarovar because Kurukshetra is a holy place of haryana. It is safe to roam outside to roam around the night.
