Likes

there were experienced proffesors , and regular classes
there was no attendence issue , like u can skip classes and do other preparation with college
cleanliness, beautiful campus , no bullying

Dislikes

there was no extra curicular activity like different clubs for singing, sports etc
there was no farewell or fresher party in college
you have to manage your freshers and farewell parties on your own

Course Curriculum Overview

i chose this cousre because subjects were familier to me as i have studied in class 12th teaching methods were good but they need to improve practical labs in bsc there was anual exam no tests but in msc there was semester wise exam and tests were also included

Class Size: 300Course Fees: INR 4000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

total fee of the course was around 8ooo ( for 1st year 2k, for 2nd year 2k and for 3rd year 4000 ) for all categories dont know about scholarships there was reservation in cutoff after admission fees was same for all categories .

Campus Life

there were no such festivals . they only celebrate independence day , republic day teachers day etc . diwali is celebrated by the students and also freshers and farewell is organised by the students . classrooms are good . no sports no extra curricular activity . no clubs

Admission

i only applied in this college because it was in my city prayagraj and i wanted to do my futhure studies living in my home . no i was not got rejected from other colleges , i didnt applied . admission process is very simple with some basic documents like .. adhar , 12th marksheet, application for , admit card and category certificate etc . you are only eligible if you have passes your 12th or appearing when i gave entrance exam it was a seperate exam of AU but not u can get into the college by clearing cut off of cuet ug .

Faculty

faculity to student ratio is not good in bsc but it is good in msc . physics and maths department were goid enough but chemistry department need to improve infrastructure and practical labs . Also in physics practical labs there was zero support of proffesors only lab assistant was helpful.

Night Life

campus is in good area and science faculity is in market area everything is easily available in decent prices like livrary gym hostels shopping area etc . hostel timing is 7am - 8 pm science faculity is itself in a market area callec katra market and upsc chaiwala , mba chaiwala are sonme students favoriate tea time place . yeah it is very much safe and crowded area

Bsc biology prepares you for Research and development: You can work in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, education. You might work as a research assistant, research technician, or clinical researcher. Education: You can teach biology at a university or work in postsecondary education. The improvements required in the course curriculum and teachings methods are : To focus more on helping the student understand the theory well rather than giving them a big practical file to make . The frequency and timings of exams are perfect. Odd sem are held in November,they are theory papers and are of 3 hours .The even semester exams are held in May and are MCQ based questions and are of 1.5 hours.

I applied for DU too and I got confirmed for the Hindu college as the college fee was slightly higher than Allahabad university so I chose the AU over DU , I didn't got rejection from any College the addmission process is total depend on Samarth portal as I get the addmission in it by giving the cuet exam the eligibility for UG is that you have to pass yours 12th exam with above 40 percent marks CUET is preferred by most of the students the cutoff is vary from year to year I got selection on 599/850 in second round of counselling...Read More

So I have given CUET examination and the cut of for admission in main campus Is quit high but I got in main campus in my time the minimum cutoff goes to around 540 out off 800 I know it is low but in recent cutoff it goes less to 600 only so ya the entrance was quit uneasy...Read More
