Course Curriculum Overview

3

Well not everything will make sense at first but it will eventually. Some will feel that certain subjects aren't worth the time and effort due to their irrelevance and at times I am no different. Still certain streams such as CIP and SFH may feel irrelevant at first but they do contain vital information which may be crucial to us in the time of need. Exam frequency is adequate with 2 internals over the span of 1.5 months followed by the end semester exam.

Internships Opportunities

3

Internship opportunities are always at the door with frequent mails and events awaring students about the internship opportunities. From job training to payable jobs, awareness regarding their existence is always provided by the college to the students.

Placement Experience

4

In college placements is considered one of the major assets of CMRIT college. Reputation of the college is quite good amongst the hiring companies or startups here in Bengaluru. With placements upto 45lpa and the current average being 6.99lpa, students of CMRIT enjoy the benefits of its reputation and the alumnis. Recruiters include some of the well-known giants such as amazon, infosis along with numerous international companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am an international student studying here on a dedicated supernumerary quota, i.e. our quota is seperate from the general seats and thus our fee structure also varies entirely from the general. We have a fixed fee structure that does not vary over the span of our bachelor's program. Due to this, scholarships and financial aid criteria does not apply to us but we do enjoy significantly less and affordable fee structure. Currently the fee is at 1350000 inr over the span of 4 years.

Campus Life

5

Campus Life is fulfilling. Campus is a bit small in comparison but lively. In addition to Bengaluru's amazing weather, the Campus here is almost never out of its fun. Cultural events, fests such as cultura encompasses students from numerous colleges coming together to celebrate bachelor's life in both joy and harmony. Inter college sports fests, inter department competitions, festivals, etc all provide a lively and thriving atmosphere.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel is well equipped with all the necessary facilities and a clean environment which is essential to most. Meal is well balanced with variations on a day to day basis. The wardens are really friendly and will treat you like family.

Admission

After my a levels, I had my sights on a few colleges however I didn't really attempt to get into any of those as they weren't ideal for my interests of computers. Bengaluru is the IT hub of India and CMRIT is one of the best colleges with so the choice wasn't that difficult.

Faculty

4

College faculties are actually there for you. There might never be a time when everything goes prefect. There will be times of struggle, it may mean either missing a class or two, missing lab internals or even missing out on some exams entirely. Not everything goes as planned but still what you can always rely on is the support you know you are bound to recieve form the college faculties. Be it in the form of extra classes, extra tests for those who missed, extra attention for the ones struggling with academics or anyother program.

Night Life

4

Night life is what do you expect of most city colleges. CMRIT is close to the road area due to which food accommodations is never far away from where you currently are. Playground, basketball court, commonrooms, in shed siting areas all provide a pretty peaceful night time.

Placement Experience:

I'm a mechanical Engineering student. I got placed in the company BHEL. I want to thank CHRIST University as it always believed in helping and guiding its students and it was no different during the placement season. Regular classes held at our college to help us with our aptitude and technical skills were of great help. Our placement cell officers also guided and encouraged us at each step thereby helping me secure my placement at such a reputed company. I’ll always be grateful for all the support I received.
